Ah, you have visited! I wonder has the Majorelle always been this full of Instagrammers! I am glad if I have been able to bring you back on a trip down memory lane. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Thank you Rachel for sharing your holiday with us. What an amazing garden, seeing plants l have never seen before and the use of wonderful blue and yellow. And how water features everywhere. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful garden.
Thank you for sharing your visit to this lovely garden. I have long loved this unique place after finding a little book on it years ago. I have used the blue on pieces in my garden and dreamt of painting the house. Outstanding work. Love your posts and popping into your Irish garden from time to time.
I think the magic of the Majorelle can work its way to us from books and videos. How lovely that you are using those famous blue tiles in your own garden. Thank you for your comments about my videos and for dropping in. It is very much appreciated
This is a garden that was on my wishlist to see for many years and I was happy to finally get there. Of course I had to bring you along, Wanda, so I am glad you enjoyed it. Happy growing.
Thank you for the beautiful video! 🙏 I like the red paths personally, but I do think with all the bright primary colors that one is bound to to seem jarring to each individual person. For me it’s the yellow. At first glance I find those bright pots gaudy but I’m sure that I could acquire the taste for them eventually haha 😆
Some colors are just evocative of a place, those bright blues and yellows of North Africa. I can't imagine buildings being painted that way anywhere else in the world and looking "natural". There is a large home not far from me that is painted in a similar style and it just looks garish, so totally out of place in South Florida.
Well, yes, I mostly agree. Those blues certainly look out of place in the Irish climate, something about our light levels. That is my opinion anyway but each to his own.
Loved it when I was there and love seeing it again.
