Holy shit, I've never seen someone coming out of a board slide with that much speed. I'm sure there's faster ones out there but he is fkn flying out of the last kink when his attempts make it to the bottom.

he thought it was a shitty boardslide but i think that's what ultimately saved him in the end because he was slowly rotating through the entire thing so he didn't have to focus on leaving the rail properly he was just already there. so sick.
He kept falling forward. on the make the board looks like it's just trying to shoot out from under him..crazy. he said he was too exhausted to bail

That was a combo... boardslide to rail kiss. I'm thinking thats why he had so much trouble with it as he'd have to go airborne to catch the slide on the last kink. Literally flying for a second.

I remember watching Damn it All and when i saw this trick, i was with a friend and he said out "thats impossible...go back" because he knows this place (its not even a spot). We musta watched Gabriel's ender like 20 times in a row, no cap. The commitment of this dude to land this, 40 hours of eating shit over and over, respect 4ever. Keep this series comin Trasher.

Gabriel doesn’t get enough recognition that he deserves.. His parts are crazy and he goes big!
For anyone who’s ever boardslid or has tried to boardslide a thin rail like that, let alone a kinked one, knows just how hard it is. That is one gnarly boardslide.
Boardslides on kinked rails are always fucked. I've been thrown back on a triple kink boardslide rail on the ground at a skatepark that really shook me. I got some minor whiplash from it. I can't imagine taking it to an actual set with stairs.
The best part about “My War” is watching them scream and fight through literal blood, sweat, and tears all to finally land it and shrug it off in disbelief
Dude… I may be a softy… But these my wars are the best, they always bring tears to my eyes. You see the whole battle, you see the struggle, you see the determination, the whole story, and then you get to see the pinnacle moment of why they kept going at it, the expression and emotion on all these skaters faces is literally priceless. Makes me feel like I was there with them cheering them on! Congratulations, that’s the best feeling! And you will always have visual documentation to prove it! Nothing better :-)

Never giving up is one of many things skateboarding gave me and you can apply that determination into every day life and many things. I maybe tired, hurting, bruised, bleeding, losing, but one thing I know for sure I ain't giving up I'm gonna keep going no matter what it is!! We all have that in us you just need to find it and skateboarding definitely brings that out of you.

Absolutely the greatest feeling in the world. I can't imagine the physical and emotional tension that would build up after weeks of trying the same trick, but the release and elation when you finally land something like that is very unique to "extreme athletes". Whether it's a skateboard, BMX or anything else. We all know that feeling and keep chasing it.

Crazy how far Gabbers has come... I had the pleasure of growing up with Gavin in Tasmania... I remember when all he could do was heel flips, noseslides and boardslides.. Spent many weekends and days teaching each other and pushing each other. After a few years watching him grow in confidence and style it was obvious he was gonna be a force to be reckoned with on a plank. Blows my mind if I stuck with skating this is where I'd be. Well deserved Gabbers

That was the most sketchiest rail, that boardslide is unreal and other boardslides might be longer but THAT rail, that is in my opinion the most crazy boardslide I have seen. He talks about that feeling you get, all skaters know that feeling of trying something so many times, and then somehow it just happens, like perfectly, and it is the best feeling in the world.
