Yes with glass you want to fill at 180-190 degrees Fahrenheit.

Over that and you will make niter in your syrup again and it will have to be filtered.

We recommend to bottle syrup between 180-190 degrees. The syrup in the video was hot and directly drawn from the filter press and into the stock pot for demonstration. The great thing about the Handy Filler is its versatility, it's functional from a pot off the stove even if you don't have a canner.

For those asking, syrup should be bottled at 180 up to a max of just under 190, fill it then cap, and lay on its side to kill any mold spores

I was looking for the handy filler that was a manual cosmetic pump... Looks like their website is down.... Looking for something that will pump resinous material that solidifies at room temperature... What's the heat tolerance for this pump

Like I said, very clever, but way overpriced for a small vacuum pump, a mason jar, and two hoses.
A 100 cup coffee urn works just as well for $30 at Goodwill.
