- This is how I start my classes in my middle school Spanish classes. I use these types of activities to start the class. I will also usually talk about an essential question that is written on the board.
Thank you! I’m just starting my first year of teaching Spanish next month! Need all the ideas and resources I can get! I want my kids to have fun and really learn it!
I need to learn to use the tech part of it all!! I’m not tech savvy and don’t need to know how to do all this to communicate with students
God I wish my Spanish teacher was like you. He just had us come in and repeat after him. Then we would just write verbs over and over again using his guidebook. It was literally just copy and paste for 2 years😭😭

Spanish 1 and 2 mean grades? How well do they speak Spanish after a year of your class? Thanks for uploading a good informational video
Spanish 1 is the first Spanish class. Spanish 2 they take if they've passed Spanish 1. (more advanced) They speak well in the present tense. It's all basic Spanish and most of it is in the present tense expect for the end of the year.

Yes, I tried things that didn't work. I make small changes here and there to improve my situation! hah

I like your ideas and games. At that point, they may need the translation, but I prefer not to use much translation. Maybe presenting something in content helps them to remember instead of memorizing.

I would like to know more about your warmups. You have them submit the Google Form daily? Is the link on GClasroom? Do you grade it? What if they are absent?
Hello:) I usually am very relaxed about warm-ups and just look at their participation. But I'm thinking of next year being a little more strict on the accuracy of the answers. 🙂
