I was just driving a 2023 Elantra Essential (base model) and I really like them. It’s comfortable, I LOVE how the turn signals feel. The Elantra Bose audio system comes with noise filtering set to medium; if you turn this off in the preferences section, you'll get considerably improved audio response. I have a $2,000 home theatre audio system in my living room, and the Bose audio system in the Elantra sounds as good or better. I often find myself just sitting in the car, just so I can listen to it. When you turn the noise filtering off, it's really much better.
Re hybrid fuel economy at 3:00 : I regularly get 56 miles per US gallon at 70 MPH in my 2023 Elantra Hybrid. The 0 - 60 time in the Hybrid is 8.4 seconds, which is faster than the non hybrid variant (and many 1970's era musclecars); and the handling is also superior due to the fully independent rear suspension, which the non hybrid variant lacks. The Hybrid version is definitely a great combination of acceleration, handling, and fuel economy.

I can understand choice hybrid becouse it has independent suspension, but not for economy when it cost more 2k dollars... By the side, hybrid version has problem then, after ~8 years... You need SG (Hybrid Starter Generator) Belt Replacement after 108000 km of 48 month... Then battery... DCT clutches...

At 9:40 you suggest that no one uses native navigation anymore. @@ADHski oh I see. That doesn’t surprise me to hear that. When I went to the dealer to purchase my N I got the same impression while just looking around at their lower end offerings as they were taking care of my paperwork.
what's the weird crackling sound when you are driving on at 14:50 on the bumpy road ?
If i had to guess it’s the salt or rocks in the wheel wells kicking up from the tires
I wonder if the 147hp is to the wheels?
This or the new Honda Accord touring?
I think it'd be good if could tell weaknesses
I'm surprised this weighs the same as GR86.
This is one of those cars that will notify police if you drive over the speed limit. Keep your old cars folks.
There's a lot to like here but I wish it were less swoopy (thus having more glass and better visibility.)
That's really my only complaint. I really like the dash layout and interior design..
2024 gets a facelift will you review it?
It's definitely not the same fuel economy as the hybrid, but good
At 9:40 you suggest that no one uses native navigation anymore. I use it all the time; with the latest software updates it is a close rival to Android, and doesn't require an internet connection (important in some areas of the country). The big shortcoming is the voice. The Android assistant is a happy young girl you'd like to know better; the Hyundai nav voice belongs to a bitter 50 year old, heavyset female Nazi prison guard. But get past that, and everything else is good.
Half good, & half bad when opening the passenger visor, sliding the mirror lid, light doesn't come on, but @ least the battery is saved when closing the visor!
