Andy here from the WRL Product Team! We have even more great features coming very soon to make the mobile logging process faster and smoother than ever, so stay tuned!
@@aonomus Absolutely! You can log contacts no matter where you're from! For best results with the map, set your default location when you sign up for an account, but you can always go back and edit/add operating locations later.
@@goat_wrangler_n0apx another question, does it draw GIS or other data for international parks and things? Or will international users need to fill that out themselves for a less slick experience?
I used WRL today for my very first POTA activation. It was quick and easy to set up and use, and helped make me successful and really enjoy the activation. Thanks Jason, your videos helped me get my license and inspired me to get into POTA!

Good intro to WRL, now dig a little deeper. WRL has some very cool features other than POTA/SOTA tools. Main drawback for me at this time is lack of integration with other software, WSJT-X, QRZ…etc. One other is you can’t create an adif file from just selected QSO’s, it’s the whole logbook or nothing. But much of this is in the works according to the guys at WRL.

Does/will the app work for those that do not live in the US?

One of my challenges has been gaining access to ARRL for some apps.
Great app, used it last weekend while hunting!
Thanks Jason
That's gonna be real convenient, great info, tnx Man!
It's a great app - works very well and is easy to use. Thanks!
Whether POTA or SOTA

It's Ham Radio 2.0! 😃
Haha
You’re a poet and didn’t know it!🤡🤡🤡🤡
Ham2K Polo has been the winning ticket lately. Might have to do a comparison.
I'm planning to do that
Imagine if ARRL and LoTW staff were all replaced by HAMRS and WRL development...
Keep dreaming 😴
