No backup restore option in Weebly. Fatal Flaw. There is no way to backup and restore the site without cutting/pasting things back in. Go ahead, read the forums and all the wordsmithing going on. Don't confuse 'Archive' with a business like backup/restore or versioning option. There is not even an undo in the editor as far as I can tell. So, if your website is bigger than 10 relatively simple pages you should probably look elsewhere.
Been playing around with Weebly for about an hour. Very frustrated that I cannot delete a background image. So my initial response is very NEGATIVE. Why on earth can't you have a simple delete option to clear a background image?????
I sat all the way through this to learn how to set up the Google Domain I bought on Weebly, until 25:40, when you said "we're not gonna look at that right now." That's all I need... "right now". Nothing I've tried is working.

Now that I want to add a store, I find it very confusing and difficult to build and to design - the templates seem to offer options (like how many items across) but it does not reconfigure. I have resorted to using their masonry layout so I can have more than 2 items on a page - really disappointing after just upgrading and spending about $500 for the premium package. I need professional help - first for my mental health and then to build my store so it looks professional and clean.

I found this tutorial really helpful; before this I was tearing my hair out, so thank you for the clarity! I've also passed this link onto an online business group I'm in. Everything was going fine until I went to upload my logo in place of the text of my name and I accidentally deleted the entire choice - so I have no text and no logo and I cannot find any way to retrieve it. (Have gone into settings/general/site title/checkbox - all seems fine but not making any difference to the site.) Nor can I get as far as asking the question on the Weebly support page - just keep getting unhelpful standard answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated if that is at all possible.

I have given up Weebly. It's impossible to delete a domain, and Support only reply emails with a link to Weebly Support, which is useless.

You just have to touch the action button next to the “image” option to turn it off
