Do you think that if WW2 soldiers before they volunteered to fight die for their country, if they were told that their sacrifice would bring about a change so big, that their descendants will become hated minorities in their own homelands within few short decades, that their descendants rightful inheritance will be forfeited away to a people that have no historical bonds, no historical input into the settling, establishing, building of the nation, they just simply showed up and usurped the wealth and national legacy of someone else's sacrifice.
And if their descendants complained about what is happening, that they will be branded as the same enemy they volunteered to fight.
I can't imagine any soldier wanting that type of future for their children and children's children.

It’s only an issue when it comes to their communities where the properties are majority white-owned and are popular among politicians and celebrities of a certain income, but they’ll shrug when lower income neighborhoods are swarmed with migrants and putting everyone in them at risk (many of the communities being minority majorities, at that). Says it all.

I worked and lived there for 3 seasons as a bartender. One of the worst places to work is in Edgartown at The Atlantic Fish & Chophouse. Very upscale, treated absolutely terribly and the staff were bullied there by partial owners and the beverage director, well, unless you were an extremely pretty young girl, then they would favor you. But they typically embarrassed you in front of customers. I walked out during a busy night, before I beat my manager senseless. And since I walked out, apparently that forfeited my pay check for that week and tips from that whole day.
What I find most amusing is that Martha's vineyard claimed to be a sanctuary island, but when it came to providing sanctuary, they had none.

Let me say this about that. This administration has crapped on every single legal immigrant in America. My wife came to America as an immigrant from what use to be West Germany. She only accomplished that after an extensive background check, filing stacks of paperwork, and being approved by my military command . Then for her to become a citizen she had to pay hundreds of dollars, taking another federal background check, taking and passing the America citizenship test and only then was she allowed to become an American citizen. Now I see all she really had to do was cross through Mexico into America. Yeah right. She would have been deported on that very day. So like I said. Our current administration has taken a huge dump on every single legal immigrant and citizen who became an American citizen the legal way. I have had enough of the back stabbing liberals who are bent on destroying my wife's and I dream of a fair and just system.

I work as a technician and am in peoples houses every day. It's shocking when working at a millionaire's house, getting nothing as a tip, but doing that same work for an elderly person on social security, they always tip. I do the same quality of work, usually having to go above and beyond at the rich person's house, nothing. Not always, to be honest, but definitely exceeding 90% of the time.
They lose the value of money because they have sense a warped sense of it, you have so much you forget it’s true value to most. I seriously hate trust fund babies.
When I was doing appliance repair, I had similar experiences. However every once in a while, when you do get a tip from a rich person, it's usually substantial, and offsets all the stingy ones.
Same for teachers...get more appreciation in middle class neighborhoods vs. High or low income

I have been homeless and needed to pan handle to get by. The fancy cars almost never give anything it was always people in beaters or older cars, people I know probably couldn't afford to give but they did anyways. I had people say nasty things. I get it pan handling is one of the most degrading things you can do but it's better than breaking the law for money or needed things.

Many years ago I worked as a waiter/busboy during one summer in the Vineyard. Believe me, those people are not nice people. If you are not one of them they consider you the lowest form of human! They do not want summer workers even staying on the island or heaven forbid walking around.

2 years ago my mom's Visa application to the USA was rejected. The counselor at the Embassy said that there is no enough evidence that she will return back. I was so frustrated because we have a house back home. And the intention was to bring my mom to see her grandson. Now thousands of people cross the border illegally without any documents at all.
