  • I re created this sign from old photos. Long ago it hung in the Sittzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville Ky. Home of Bulleit Bourbon. I had the graphic printed from an Illustrator file I created. Enjoy.

What a great build and even better quote. I heard you say that you enjoy what you do. I want to say thank you for taking the time energy to share your many skills with your videos. You answer so many questions without saying a word. You are as fine a teacher as you are a maker/craftsman. Thanks again.

Jimmy DiResta you truly are a master of mixed media. No matter what the project, probably even watching paint dry, you always make it entertaining and informative. Another great video thank you sir for sharing.

Your tricks for making patterns continue to amaze me! I just don't get how people like you can freehand such attractive design elements. I would have sat there for an hour with a compass and ruler, futzing and re-futzing until I decided too much time has been wasted. Thanks as always for showing how to GET SHIT DONE.

I can just see some guy holding this sign up at the 'Antiques Roadshow' a hundred years from now saying, "I found it in the basement of an old building with other unique antiques." And being told by the Appraiser it's worth millions.

daly5 What? You think it's too much? I was trying for funny/clever. I did a comment similar that was well received. Can't you imagine the Antique Road-show appraising some of his work?

    Simple but elegant design.
When putting the molding on the top though... all I could think was, "Save the clock tower! Save the clock tower!"

I like it when you show the labels on the different finishes and perhaps not-so-known chemicals you use in your shop, Jimmy. I'm filling Mod Podge away for a future project. Awesome build. Thanks.

Jimmy, I'm impressed with how you made that concave molding using only a regular table saw. Who needs a router table? That was pretty slick.

Im infatuated with your channel......just wish I had your skills. Like that paper thing you did at the beginning. You drew out half of your design.....traced over that, flipped over the paper, and had your mirrored design......SO simple......yet....I would have never thought to do that. learning new stuff every video I watch.
