- This is my tretinoin before and after results. I was using Tretinoin 0.05% cream for my adult acne.
On this journey I went through a small (but not fun) tretinoin purge. I really noticed that my skin cleared significantly between 3 and 6 months. I hope that you can see this too from the video!
This is my 2021 results with Tretinoin as I have used it in the past in 2019-2020. Therefore, to avoid confusion this is my tretinoin journey that began in 2021.

I have been using it since 15 days.. It cause breakouts but skin texture has improved.. Already getting complements for improvement ☺
Birth control Yaz or non name brand Nikki helps with acne and hormone. I used to get cystic acne and I used that along with Tretinoin and Azaleiac Acid from the doctor. Chefs kiss.

Right? cuz i would have gave all the way up. Im fighting against dark spots right now using tumeric soaps, kojic acid, the ordinary's aha/bha peeling solution and good molecules dark spot treatment (tranexmic acid and nicinamide toner). They are finally starting to fade but who knows which product is causing the progress at this point.

I have been using ordinary retinoid emulsion for about 4 months now but I do keep getting breakouts and pimples causing acne... But yes little satisfied with the skin texture like wrinkles and lines.... But pimples keep on popping out.... Actually how long does it take to get clear look?

if you’re noticing irritation, try the sandwich method- moisturizer, Tret, moisturize.
very normal I'm going through it now been on Tret for 4 weeks still purging and peeling. I started using the sandwich method so hopefully that helps a little
Hi since tretinoin cream is to be applied on the whole face, do you let the cream touch an active say acne/pimple with pus? Or do u avoid touching such area when applying tretinoin?
I don’t think it’s meant to be applied on your entire face, just little dots on the active acne spots. After all the cream is lots of vitamin A which dries out your skin a LOT, be sure to use a good exfoliating moisturizer! Hope this helps.

If those pustules were getting popped on their own prematurely were u still using tret or stopped for few days ?? Help currently on tret and breaking out purging possibly!! But the pustules are getting popped as soon as i sleep and now my skin is really red around those pustules area and feels like blood will pop !!

Glad the doxy worked for you! My teen had doxy/tret last year, but the acne/clogged pores came back. We’re trying doxy again but at a higher dose at 100 mg/trifarotene. You look great!

Can I ask what moisturizer u used because I’m on this treatment called “adapalene” it’s a retnoid similar to your treatment but I’m always left with super dry skin. Idk what moisturizer works for me , and honestly I hate vanicream moisturizer and the face wash tht comes with it, super drying 😞
I am a CeraVe moisturising *lotion* girl 💖 I also liked cicaplast by La Roche posay. But the truth is I use CeraVe over and over so that is my absolute go to!
I am using aveeno baby eczema care cream with adapelene plus benzoyl peroxide tactupump and it's helping a lot with dryness.

Try bicarb and coconut oil scrubb
Then moisturize with castor oil,
Avoid black tea and coffee,
Drink herbal instead,
Eat meat fruit and veg
Get into making fresh juice at home
This cleared up my skin
And drink lots of water too

The TH-cam algorithm for shorts is terrible in my opinion. It shows videos to pretty much anyone and some the people below find the time to comment rubbish. 😅 Luckily the well established TH-cam algorithm for other videos is much better and is recommended to people that actually like similar content 😊

hey could you please tell me how you used tretinoin, because each time i apply it my skin gets dry next morning, even after applying moisturiser and sun screen. is it normal? i really need to remove this acne
Its normal and its normal for the acne to get worse for a bit before it gets better. U need to be patient with tretinoin it could take months so see results
@rajveer ramesh u can go for the sandwich method. U have to apply a moisture and let it complety dry than go with ur treatinoin and moisture again. And double check ur sunscreen don't go for sunscreen from make-up brands always go for drug store one. I would personally suggest - acne -uv gel SPF 50

Yes I use a retinol product which is like tretinoin but less powerful and it really helps with acne scars, it is actually meant to reduce scars
I've been using the tret for about 3 weeks now and no reaction at all. Not even the slightest purging or whatever. I can't really say I'm seeing results already. Guess I'll have to wait it out 😅

@@Hirsi4566 yes and it's 3 months now. At first my skin improved a lot but I guess using tret everyday kind of became too much for my skin so I reduced it to every two days. It's better now.
