    1. Add the word "Because" to any request you make
    2. "Door in the Face". Rejection + Retreat
    3. Celebrity Association (It's all about trust and prestige)
    Bonus. Reciprocity
    Thank you, Sifu!
    P.S: Awesome video format btw.

    First Universal principle of persuasion is "Reciprocity"
    When applied to marketing: " Relationships are LEVERAGE.
    If you give VALUE to SOMEONE ELSE FIRST; You have LEVERAGE.

    So profound and different presentation. I think the written text helps you additional to memorize easier the content, because you listen and at the same time you read the content. So, there are two sources that your mind is with the same content and that make it more powerful. The written text also helps people that English is not their first language to check for unknown words to their dictionary. But, from the other hand this video doesn't feel it's you, it's not your style, "The Boss In The Bentley" , so from the feeling side I prefer videos "Boss In The Bentley" style.
    Thank you Sifu

    Love the godfather analogy. It summarises the whole video (at least for me), add value first, build rapport and then proceed from there. Thinking about it, if you are good at giving value, then the other strategies are also much more effective. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful video. I love the illustrations too.

    I really need this lesson, a lot of people often say first impressions of me are that I seem stuck up, or unfriendly. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! I am the friendliest. This is a barrier I find that it effects me when connecting with people. It takes a long time to connect with people sometimes I don't have that. Especially when you are selling.

    • @wardenclyffepark486
      @wardenclyffepark486 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used to struggle with this too, and I am proud to say I've improved. You need to try to open up more, express yourself a bit more. At first you sound awkward, but eventually you'll meet like-minded people who will support you and resonate on what you are talking about. Little by little you will gain confidence. This confidence will help you sell yourself and your ideas and have reputation, but most of all having confidence is a great start in being successful.

    #1. Add the word ”because” at the end of your sentence
    #2. Door in the face: 1) ask for a large request 2) after being rejected, ask a more reasonable request
    #3. Celebrity associations and credibility. Use their quotes with authority and credibility to support your idea
    #4. Reciprocity = give some free first! Then others will owe you to return the favor!
