Makes me so happy watching you appreciating Guy's talent so sincerely. We Aussies know how amazing he is, but watching people enjoying hearing him from abroad just makes me proud (as if I had something to do with his talent - which ofc I didn't lol). As you said he has a huge catalogue of songs but still hasn't made it big overseas. Just shows it's not just talent that's needed, but marketing money and for the right people(execs) need to support you. He has had exposure like performing on American Idol as a guest, Conan with Lupe and Eurovision. Yet still people are amazed when seeing him live yet still hasn't exploded. Such a shame as he is such a talented singer with a beautiful heart and voice.
He is so full of love, I'm not religious but any gospel background or family history of singing together I believe lends itself to vulnerability telling stories authentically.
Guy is a recent discovery for me and I’m totally in love. His duet with Johnny on the voice was one of the best covers I’ve ever heard. He is for sure a world class singer and I hope he comes to the U.K to tour. I think we all need this song more than ever at the moment, this is a good performance but the one he did on the voice of this is even better
I met him once at church when I used to live in Sydney where we were both locals... I was probably 13 at the time, I'm 21 now. He's genuinely such a humble guy and you can just feel his raw passion. I agree he should be huge world wide. I thought it was a smart move to team up with Lupe Fiasco and thought that would give him the exposure he needed to make it in the USA. Yet still it hasn't. Just proves you need more than talent!

I have noticed that in America, when someone from another country appears on their shows and the are extremely talented, Americans don't like it, so they don't give these (Foreign!!) Singers the Credit that they deserve!! Unfortunately a great many Americans believe that they are the Best in the world at everything!! BLEW US ALL AWAY..... this gentle, humble, music teacher..... he doesn't need the 'computerised voice' or to 'lip sync'. Like with nearly all true Australian singers..... you don't make it, unless you can actually do it. We don't like 'pop star' fakes.
