Thanks for taking a stand Nic. I’ve known about Hillsong for decades but you couldn’t convince anyone, especially supporters back then. I’m just sorry a lot of good people got caught up in this. Abusive cults are all the same no matter what public image they project, the first thing they do is isolate people from anyone outside the organisation and it’s worldview, from rationality and social support outside the cult, so people become totally unquestioning or unable to think for themselves.
