This always makes me cry because this song he sings had just came out and our son took his own life, the songs about a family member that was going through depression etc it’s about the struggles they go through and thoughts of ending there life and all Guy could was sit and listen to him & just letting him know that he is here with him and not alone.. those dark voices win at times and there’s nothing you can do it’s just heartbreaking you never get over losing someone like that especially when it’s not in there nature at all. Now you need to watch the kids get back at Guy by surprising him with his family at the movies singing another one of his songs. 🧐😞🇦🇺

Its wild to see little kids freaking out about Guy Sebastian because I'm 30 and we would have reacted the same way if he came to our school when I was a kid. He's been one of the most recognisable australian pop stars since 2003, it's sort of surreal that he still has this impact.

Both the songs he sang here are about su!cide/depression... choir is about his band mate and best mate who passed and he wished he noticed more signs. Standing with you is about all of us not judging and just being there for anyone needing help regardless of what for. Gorgeous and much needed songs.
