This is one episode that I have been awaiting upload for years. I videod it when originally broadcast and some details and scenes stuck in my mind for years ie the sexual assaults on women on the beach in Aberdeen but the disturbing parts to see again was the violent burglaries on the Welsh borders, the man who was woken up and confronted by the three masked men in his home and the man walking his dog outside his home and looks up and disturbs the three masked men. I might have nightmares tonight after seeing this after so many years.
Maybe it's just a conspiracy theory on my part, but it's funny how some of the most important/shocking cases were the ones that didn't appear on here for a long time. Feb 1992 is another example. Just been uploaded recently.
@@ajs41You mean Stephanie Slater? The Crimewatch File has been up for ages, so I think it's just a coincidence. I know what you mean about these really notorious cases though- very serious ones that got lots of publicity and took a time to solve. I think the explanation is that there were more of them than now. Far fewer people read newspapers and watch the main news broadcasts, and there's no Crimewatch, so cases don't really grow in the public consciousness like they used to.
@@chrismanners9091 Well, also one of the creepiest crimes of all in my opinion, which is the Croydon nightstalker who used to break into elderly people's houses in the middle of the night, featured on lots of episodes of Crimewatch, but I can't find any of them despite hundreds of episodes being available.
The first reconstruction is slightly odd, all the stuff about him going to the nightclub which didn't seem to have anything to do with his murder, plus the neighbours watching television and getting in bed. Why didn't they just start with him arriving back?

13th December I think, only know because in the first reconstruction they show the Nov 95 show which states when the next episode is.

Not sure what has happened but for some reason all the cw episode's and the midlands cw have been deleted from Fanedit.
