It's not at all. Little Mac has fast air speed and falls too quickly, though Ganondorf and Dr. Mario are significantly heavier which also doesn't aid them. At the very least, those two have time to consider their recovery options in mid-air. With Little Mac, you pretty much only have one window of opportunity. Little Mac also doesn't have reliable aerials to protect himself from edgeguard attempts. Misusing Slip Counter in mid-air can still get him KO'd.

Yeah I literally was like what... they used her recovery completely wrong... You'd think a channel that does videos like this, and has people doing some seriously weird stuff to recover would know that Bayo can jump cancel.
@@arianagrandebayo I was completely disappointed because how they used her recovery, while i tested it myself two months ago, and was interested in the combinations that could give her more height.

Tecnically steve recovery is as infinite as snake's recovery, one is limited by a number of objects and a screen limit, and the other if you do it to many times you'll end up killing yourself, but still both are basically infinite recoveries

Actually this isn’t really true. I know the video you are talking about. The thing is Steve was close to the blast zone so the TNT gave time for the first Minecart to despawn, so I think this would only work offstage.

The fun bit is noticing how long it took Steve to get up there, how many resources it took, how linear and predictable it had to be to get that high, and without easy hotboxes on the way.

Fun fact: Recovering and grabbing the ledge where made easier to do in Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate not only to appeal to beginners, but also to prolong how long the matches would last. Which lead to less stocks per match compared to Melee.

6:34 FYI, Bayonetta can actually make it if you jump, double jump cancel, up b, double jump cancel, up b, side b, double jump, and directional air dodge upwards. (Double jump cancel is when you use up b within 3 frames of double jumping. This allows you to conserve your double jump a max of 2 times). To be fair, not many people other than Bayonetta players (including me) would know this. Other than that, awesome video!
Great video, I would just like to point out that steve can go a lot higher if using the tech discussed in Heskin's "STEVE'S INFINITE RECOVERY UNCOVERED! | Steve Labbing Tricks", also flicking the joystick down after activating up b allows for an extra few blocks increase in height, tnt also allows you to use a second minecart, so in total by sticking to your rules of no blowing himself up he can reach a comfortable height of 21, thats based on user error and current available recovery techs. btw for anyone trying at home you have to go to the very far edge of training mode so the minecart despawns so you can use another one, normal stages the minecart falls offscreen on training you have to throw it to the side. All in all informational video about vertical recoveries though.
Uh, you did Sonic’s wrong. You’re supposed to do up special first, go back down to land on the spring again, jump, and the do up special again.

This is what I would change if I were to buff Mac.
- Buff the damage and knockback of every move DRASTICALLY, and a little bit for the Side Smash, Up Smash, and both of the Standard Specials.
- Buff Side Tilt a normal amount.
- Have the Final Smash kill at 0.0% on every launch rate including 0.5 .
- Down Air spikes WAY earlier.
- React faster after Side Special.
- Move faster in freefall via Up Special.
- React a bit faster after using Neutral Aerial.
- Mac can break shields WAY easier.
That's all.

Here's a trick, use your first side-b for an extra jump, then use tnt. After the first tnt, you can use the minecart again.
Dude for Mewtwo u could've used neutral b immediately after the double jump animation to gain height

The Mlg he’s making it fair FOR the other characters. If this video considered steve’s capability of using the tnt, the only ones who would be able to match him would be those who can also damage themselves (and few exceptions, like lucario, jigglypuff and maybe “jump art” kirby.
