I just bought an Air Hawk Cruiser, medium, with the polyurethane bladder. It's a good looking pad! My CTX 1300 Honda has a pretty good seat already but I thought this couldn't hurt from both a comfort and an accessory standpoint. I have read that on the poly bladders, the valve has a frequent tendency to separate from the bladder, based on Amazon reviews. Anyway, in your instructions, it indicates to insert the hook in one of the rear loops, and wrap it under the seat to the "opposite" loop, which I interpret to mean the opposite "rear" loop. It goes on to say to do the same thing on the front. It then says you should wind up with an X pattern underneath the seat. But if you follow the instructions, you will wind up with parallel straps (if you interpret the instructions as I initially did), not an X. So it is a little confusing, and I'd suggest to your product managers that this be clarified in the instructions. Also, in item 3 of the instructions, the word "of" is spelled "pf". So that should be corrected also. Otherwise, nice product, and I am anxious to try it out.
I had the worst seat in motorcycling for long rides with my 2008 Yamaha FJR1300 and the air hawk improved the comfort by about 50%, so worth the small investment. ... but I sold the bike and bought a beemer K1300GT and the stock good seat is even better with the airhawk
I recently bought for my R1200GS and haven't noticed any difference, but then, knowing me, I've probably got it set up wrong. I didn't know about crossing underneath the seat or the quarter-inch off the sadly. How do you know if you're at a quarter-inch when you're sitting on it? Sorry to ask a stupid question. Cheers, Mark
Stupid question I guess. I have a fitted sheepskin cover on my Harley. Really no reason why this couldn't just be installed between the seat and the cover is there?

Air hawk are a bad design , the valve should be at the back out of the way .. on the side it digs you in the left thigh badly :P
