    You saved my butt. I’m older heavy and no padding in the rear anymore. I ride 110 miles to work one way a week and then back home the same distance. My Fanny was really killing me until I purchased an Air Hawk. Thanks

    Mine is ordered as well, even though I have the Can-Am comfort seat installed. I plan on doing quite a bit of long trips in May and June and want to be prepared and not suffer from a "broken butt" after the first couple of days. I will probably be running the straps under the comfort seat though, instead of under the frame. That should look even better and may lessen the risk of the straps getting caught or cut on a sharper part of the frame.

    • @RykerRydes
      @RykerRydes  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That sounds great. When I do long distance riding, I switch between using a pad and not using it. Keeps my butt fresh…if that makes sense. I also love my bead rider (I have a video on that too).

    Thank you for this video. I wonder what should I do about comfort. Maybe it's cheaper and better to go to an upholsterer and get them to copy the BRP comfort seat (love that design) I will see what would that cost. I like the BRP one, but I would like to match the backrest and they don't offer that in the style of the BRP comfort seat. Although the Air Hawk Comfort Seat Cushion its cheaper.

After a long ride when I get off the bike it feels like I'm being stabbed in my tailbone lol even in my truck I have the lumbar support at max and I still need to tuck a sweater or something behind my back when I am on long distance drives.

    I got the comfort seat, and it does not include any comfort at all. My only guess on the "comfort" claim is that it's a different material and doesn't heat up in the sun as much, and it looks more expensive (it better since it is, and doesn't really feel much, if any, different.

    • @RykerRydes
      @RykerRydes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Ryker is only hard to steer at REALLY low speeds, when you first move the bike. But as soon as you give it just a little gas, you can't even tell that it doesn't have power steering. It is a little squirrelly on the highway. I just added new sway bar links that have helped somewhat, but looking forward to even better result when I swap out the entire sway bar. It is supposed to really help with that! Check out my latest video on the links.

    I had the old Air Hawk, it was soft inner tube type Rubber and very good. I got the new one you have and it sucks. Cheap plastic and not worth the money at all. I cannot even use it. Very poorly made.

      I am sorry it didn't work for you. I have had mine on and off my bike for a while and still find it very comfortable. I guess the search continues. Let us know if you find anything you love!

    No...my worry after watching all the vid is it is a piece of plastic. I really wanted one but after watching long term vid makers....I am going to hold off.

      If you look too hard, you will find the negatives. People love to complain! Lol I love my Ryker, but you have to be comfortable with your choice.

    I'm probably the only person in the world that don't like the air hawk seat. I've got one that I don't use

      I never use the straps. My butt holds it in place! Lol
