Race for the Galaxy is one of my favourite card games. Roll for the Galaxy is an excellent adaptation for those that love rolling dice. There is enough randomisation mitigation to not feel like you are at the mercy of the dice but you can still get screwed over by them...
Glad to see there is a proper digital version of Roll for the Galaxy. It is an unfortunate consequence of the crazy number of symbols in the game that it is difficult to pick up. Still worth it.

I have a boardgame store I visit on the weekends often and RFTG is a very popular game

I really like this game. My one problem with it is that it feels like you're almost always better off just focusing on building out your worlds as quickly as possible and ending the game before other strategies can start accumulating a meaningful number of points.
