I’ve been watching videos on soft wash builds for about the last 2 months. First time seeing your video and you’re the ONLY person to talk about tank. It’s crazy but nobody ever says what their tank size s are. Well done
great setup. i don’t even have a pick up truck and i find a way to get the job done. i have a 13 gal northern tool soft wash tank with bleach jugs and soap in the trunk. i folded the back seats and that allows me to fit my 24ft bifold ladder. Also have a leave blower, pressure cleaner, and hose reel squeezed in the back. Truck coming soon tho 🙏🏽.
Can you draw a diagram or make a video on how to build a Soft Wash system : 1 - how to connect the pump to the switch to the tanks (From the pump to the switchs ) 2 - from the pump to the battery, and to charge battery .
Hi thank you for your video please tell me about the plug in the top of tank at time 6:55-57, And is that a bulkhead your tube just "loosely" dropped down in on the top of the tank? what is that beige color part? thank again
Appreciate the feedback. I just started a little small business on the side, so I didn’t want to go too crazy. I’ve been contemplating doing something similar with same your set up. I also wanted to put a cap on the bed with the side windows for easy access got a look into it, and see if it fits
@floridaextreme - how on earth do you get chemical that cheap. Do you buy bulk and have it delivered in a barrel? I’m just picking up by gallon at Walmart but could really cut costs that way
So based on the rough idea of $5 a gallon for SH.. when would you ever need 40 gallons (or more) for one job? That's $200 for SH alone.. I assume that must be a large 4Ksqft home or larger to need that much? Also.. assuming 6% sh with a 5gpm pump, that's about 2.5gallons of sh per minute if full bore? I would assume at that amount you'd put out a lot of area in a minute or two, at least from videos I've watched.
$5 for SH is rough. What part of the Country you are in? I pay $1.98 a gallon here in Florida. For a 4k sqft roof, I would say 45-50 gallons of SH should be good. I did a 3500 sqft roof the other day and it was about 38 gallons I used.
@@FloridaXtremePw West coast. I am just learning.. hobby.. not business. Just trying to maybe had it for some weekend work. But so far buying 10% sh at walmart at $5 a pop. I haven't checked if there are cheaper options locally. So for a 3500sqft home, you're charging like $600 or more given $100 for sh alone?
The end user ( the customer )should be the ones paying for SH . 40 gallons of bleach on hand is great !!! Pay full attention this man saved thousands of dollars he can use for other stuff marketing more equipment family etc . I can’t imagine not learning all I could from all the free info on the net and implementing and building things myself and saving big !! So many people charging outrageous prices for putting stuff together for Pennie’s on the dollar !! So many guys get sold the dream and spend thousands on equipment only to realize they have no steady work and it is harder than they were told ! Start small build your own and save if you decide it’s not for you then your not out near as much !! $$
Question what type of equipment gpm etc. & skid do you recommend for pressure washing dumpster pads & restaurant walkways any advice would highly be appreciated!! God bless you and your family
A 4 GPM is where you at least want to start and build as you go. Me personally, I started residential and still do more residential than Commercial. If you see yourself winning a bidding for multiple HOA’s, Commercial locations, etc… Consider your time, cost & supplies for that job and At that point is where I would consider upgrading. You don’t need anything fancy. Maybe get a 100-200 gallon buffer tank and a 7-10GPM machine on a 6 x 12 trailer, Tandem Axle if possible.
Yes thanks to you tube it is saturated. I was it doing back when it was no videos about it on you tube Now I have 2543 In my are of 3k residents. It’s just stupid

You have the best set up that I've seen so far 😁 Thank you for sharing.

Nice Bud! I started my business putting everything in the back of a Mitsubishi Endeavor.
@@FloridaXtremePw wow came a long way man. trust the process 💪🏽
I pressure washed for a time out of a 2005 Nissan Altima. You do what you gotta do 👍🏻
I like it when you make it simple
Thank you for keep it simple for us people having the capital to get in but don’t need to go crazy!
Excellent video great idea !
New sun, dig the simplicity of your build. A walkthrough on connections would be greatly appreciated.
I like those tanks, low profile compared to 55 gallon plastic barrels. Where did you buy them? Brand? Price?

Yes please, I really appreciate your simplicity
Absolutely love it!
Great Build Man.
Appreciate it. 🙏

Nice set up ! What do you use for a pressure washer ?
I differently like the softwash box setup.
Where did you buy the clips to hold the wand?
Thank you for the awesome vidoe. What size deep cycle battery, 27 or 29? Also do your Remco pumps have the quick connects?
Nice set up
Your noco works amd charges the battery without being plugged in?

I really like your setup nice and simple I’m wanting to start my own business power washing where can I go get like the pump 50 gallon tank
You can find the Pump and Tank at a Local Pressure Washing store, Facebook Marketplace or Online.
Really nice set up !! What size bed are you working with?
I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 5x8 bed
I have an 8 1/2 foot bed

I have a local pressure washing store that sells it by the gallon. Self-Serve.
It’s about $20 in NC in Walmart and that’s only the 10%, I can’t believe you can get it that cheap
Sorry to hear that bud. We get 12.5% here.
How much was the tailgate carrier? ty
Are you talking about the Cargo Hitch?
What size softwash hose do you use? I'm confused, it seems like some guys use 1/2" and others 3/8"? I'll be using a 5 gpm pump. thanks
Prob need 1/2 for that. 3/8 is typically for the pressure washer.
Awesome setup. What is SH going for up there by you per gallon?
Down here in Florida I pay $1.89 a gallon
@FloridaXtremePw what company do you use here in FL to get you SH?
What's" receptacle" called for your Operating your charger
Thanks
Any time brother!
Can it reach a two story house?
Very nice. Built it yourself?

Partial of it with some help.
Hello, how are you? Do you configure the entire team to hire you?
What size box did you order? I got a longer one but not as tall or deep as yours
Hit up south east softwash

I charge between $.30-$.45 a sqft for a roof. Could be more depending on circumstances.

Exactly! I won’t even buy chemicals until my client signs my legal contract.
I haven’t done and soft wash before…. How do you remove Moss from the roof? 😯
You sweep/blow it off with a leaf blower. Then apply your chemicals
What part of Is florida are you from?
I’m in Central Florida.
@@FloridaXtremePwI'm in central Florida to. Thinking about doing something like this for a side hustle. I'll sub and keep an eye on things. 👍
What valves are those brother?
It’s for Bleach, Water & Surfactant. One opens up each.
@@FloridaXtremePw I was asking about the valve brand sorry
@@WillGAdventures No specific brand. It’s called a “Proportioner”. I got it at the Local Pressure Washing store.
Did you buy this setup from Southeast Softwash?
What hose is that?
1/2 hose (200 feet). You can grab that at your local Pressure Washing store.
@@FloridaXtremePw which brand? I’m looking for black hose
It’s called “AG” (Agricultural) Spray hose. 1/2 inch. You can find it online or local Pressure Washing store.
Ditch the SH . Wash safe eco-friendly product.
literally everyone in the industry uses sh, good luck effectively cleaning roofs without sh
as long as u are responsible with the chemical and use it safely there is absolutely nothing wrong with using sh
