    Finally someone explained what’s different about a downstream injector vs the regular siphon port on a pressure washer. Thank you!

      I would strongly recommend an X-Jet and a quality ball valve as basic equipment for any pressure washer. The ability to switch out feed nozzles to change your mix ratio along with the extended reach are invaluable. Not to mention sparing your guns, hoses, and ball valves the wear and tear of running bleach through them is vital. The only drawback is that the xjet hose can be a bit difficult to manage, especially with a wand vs a smaller “detail” gun. I struggled greatly with hoisting a 5 gallon bucket with an unruly hose on it and trying to simultaneously spray down a driveway or wall. Ended up straining my rotator cuff more than a couple of times before I got used to the pacing. It GUZZLES chemical and the filter has difficulty staying down at the bottom of the bucket so beware. All in all great purchase but there’s a small learning curve to using it. I find it works best for walls set under a ladder to give the hose plenty of slack while you apply.

    Great job and review of your soft wash. Will the jrod work on a 3200 psi 1.2 gallon per minute pressure washer? (electric) Trying to to reach a 2 story house. If not what do you suggest? Thanks you for your time.

    • @DownSouthSoftwash
      @DownSouthSoftwash  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It could possibly work. You can downstream through virtually any pressure washer but the only problem is the height. To be able to reach 2 stories you’d probably need to be on a small ladder and even then it might just end turning to a mist and not actually getting up there. I would suggest buying a pump sprayer (15 oz bleach and the rest water.) you will still need a ladder to reach the second story but you will get a better stream out of a pump up sprayer at that height than a jrod of of a machine that small. To sum it up. The jrod will work for the first story of your house but the second story will most likely require a pump up sprayer. Hope this helps.
