Gulab jamun - deep fried milk solids & flour in rose and cardamom syrup 2. Cham cham - made of Indian cottage cheese in syrup 3. Kala jaam - like gulab jamun, but coated in sugar before frying so they get dark and caramelly 4. Gujiya - deep fried dumpling filled with dairy and dried fruits 5. Langcha - deep fried dried milk and flour in sugary syrup 6. Laddu - deep fried balls of chickpea flour, butter, sugar, cardamom, raisins, cashews 7. Barfi - condensed milk and sugar I also loove suji ka halwa. It's a sweet warm semolina pudding. It sort of reminds me of Japanese zenzai!

You should try indian milk cake also called kalakand. The brown one is gulabjamun, white is rasgulla, yellow is boondi ka Laddo, the last milky cheese sweet is barfi.
Indian sweets are sweet because we are eating sugar for more than 3000 yrs. Sugarcane is Indigenous to India. And we refined and crystallized sugar way back in 1 BC. Western world first saw sugar during the conquest of Alexander. We're their soldiers described sugar as "Honey from Reeds".
Golden round ball called gulab jamun made up of milk solids, dry fruits, cardamom, saffron, sugar syrup. And darker version is same but more cooked so tastes little better. Gulab jamun is eaten hot in winters or cold with vanilla ice cream.
That was very interesting, I love gulab jamun (the first one), and Justin peaking through every so often made me smile...love the description of the sweets :) :)
The first one is called Gulaab Jamun - Gulab jamun is a milk-solid-based sweet from the Indian subcontinent, popular in India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, as well as Myanmar. It is also common in Mauritius, Fiji, southern and eastern Africa, Malay Peninsula, and the Caribbean countries of Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname and Jamaica.
Omg! I just love what you guys are doing!!! So delicious! Yes, Indian snack can be confusing, I never experiment these recipe in my channel, I might in the future after this video. Thanks!
I love how shinchan immediately thought jamun goes really well with ice cream without knowing anything about it... Jamun over ice cream is my favorite Indian dessert combo!
The darker sphere (#3?) is gulab jamun/ golabjam and is soaked in a sugar syrup that has cardamom and sometimes rose water. If you eat it fresh made and still warm, it’s slightly crispy on the outside, soft in the center and delicious with ice cream - especially Indian ice cream, aka “kulfi”. The yellow sphere is “ladoo/ laddu” and is made with a specific type of lentil. I think it’s moong (same as used to grow bean sprouts). I’ve never seen it with raisins, though. The fudge looks like some sort of burfi/ barfi and is made with fresh made cheese by souring the milk. Note: there may be regional differences in ingredients. I’m going by what my mother made
Wow I am an Indian, and know all these, but your review was riveting and i enjoyed vicariously along with you. But i like to add that Indian desserts can be much more sophisticated, these are basics 😊😊. Enjoyed your take
Pewdie chai I disagree. I think they are drinking either green or black tea, not milk tea. The tea after the gulab jamun will help cut down the sweetness on the tongue

gulab jamum made of floor and sugar syrup, ladoo yellow one with lentil seeds, white one is ras maillay with milk and syrup and coconut.
Each state has their own unique sweets and also variations of the same.
That was very interesting, I love gulab jamun (the first one), and Justin peaking through every so often made me smile...love the description of the sweets :) :)
Almost all indain sweets are made with milk or cottage cheese
Nicely reviewed. :) There is a reflection of passion in your content. This is rare in reaction/review channels.
One guy looks more english, the other speaks more english. Nice pair!
We do love it with ice cream ...specially served at Indian wedding buffet
Warm gulab jamun and icecream is actually a thing.... Just like sizzling brownie with icecream and its wowww!
you guys missed out on many of the more amazing indian sweets, I'll bet you'll love them
Is no one gonna talk about how the dog is not tempted by all the sweets? He's such a good boi!! :o My dog would've gobbled up everything at once.
U guys should have tried rasmalai aahhhh so tasty ras malai mmm😋
Omg! I just love what you guys are doing!!! So delicious! Yes, Indian snack can be confusing, I never experiment these recipe in my channel, I might in the future after this video. Thanks!
Those Indian sweets look great! 🔥
I love how shinchan immediately thought jamun goes really well with ice cream without knowing anything about it... Jamun over ice cream is my favorite Indian dessert combo!
The first one is made with milk no corn flour :)
I’m going by what my mother made
We don't know what these are called and we don't want to call it with a wrong name so we'll just called it 'The Round Golden Ball'.
1:55 it's khoya with all purpose flour.
By the way i loved your Dog 🐕... whenever he try to interfere 😆😍😘😘
You guys are so humble man. You gained our respect and one more subscriber
New subscriber here! Love the videos ,puppy is cute too
4.20: you are absolutely right. It would go amazing with an ice cream :) vanilla to be honest. That's how a few restaurants serve them.
If you have chance come to South India Tamilnadu guys , varieties of sweets n Foods ,hope you guys are really enjoy once you taste
Wow I am an Indian, and know all these, but your review was riveting and i enjoyed vicariously along with you. But i like to add that Indian desserts can be much more sophisticated, these are basics 😊😊. Enjoyed your take
Gulab jamum + Tea = disaster
Pewdie chai I disagree. I think they are drinking either green or black tea, not milk tea. The tea after the gulab jamun will help cut down the sweetness on the tongue
I appreciate the good effort you have put in making this video, unlike many westerners you are very polite and humble during the video. We Indians have very good respect for Japanese.
