As a person who is retired from the trades career, grew up my first 18 years on the farm ......... it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling the farm industry is being developed by the younger generation . Zach , you , an many others are at the top of your game so to speak in the farm industry. The above comments about Zach gives me warm confidence the future of farmers is in great hands.
Peoria, Illinois Representing!! Wow! Such an Honor to have mentioned in one of your videos! As well as visiting!!! I've been a follower for a couple of years now. Good thing your in your truck, be careful of the potholes!!...
While I'm a Massey Ferguson fan, I have a special place in my heart for the JD 4020. It was the first tractor I got to run by myself as a young boy. I was devastated when we were forced to sell off our equipment in the 80s. Thank you for taking us along for the tour...
Hell of a work ethic. Very admirable. My 8 yr old boy enjoys watching as much as I do. You're a good role model. Thank you for all the work you guys put into your channel on top of all your other work. Great job!!!!
I work for a railroad in Michigan and I have traveled across the country and Canada for railroad reasons and I can honestly say the Alaska railroad has the most beautiful scenery I have experienced yet. I hope you get to experience a large part of what the Alaska railroad has to offer. Anchorage south to Seward is speechless and Talkeetna to Denali is also amazing. Also to note a lot of Deere products move by rail across the country, should be seeing those new 8370’s moving soon.
Amazing to see the new 8370RX as Your having fun test drive playing in the snow. Buckle Up to Speed a hundred. Zach are you crazy? Awesome to see you on you on Video!
This channel is awesome!!! I’ve been following for about a year and it has inspired me to vlog our small family farm too. There is a lot of misinformation around farming and I’m hoping to bridge that gap SLOWLY. Keep up the good work man!
Well I've now added the museum too my bucket list. And Cole was in it too. Both of you guys are breaking the way too show people what really goes on too feed them. Good job boys! Thanks for another great one
I did a trip down to Waterloo this last fall it was really interesting to see how they make the best tractors in the world. Kinda cool seeing a video of you being in the same place I was. Great Channel love watching!
It's absolutely amazing what they are doing these days, isn't it? Simply incredible. Not only that, I noticed you have 433,000 subscribers! Wow! Just a year ago you hit 100,000. Dude, you are awesome and I love your videos :)
As a farmer who not too long ago came across Cole the cornstars vidoes, I find your vidoes interesting too! Lol it was funny to see you guys collab! Lol That 8RX looks like a nice machine!! Shout out to all the farmers who read this comment! Where would this world be without us!💪💯
Love your channel! Love the way you are trying to EDUCATE the next generation!!!! This episode makes me want to go to an Agricultural Museum just to see/learn the history of tractors! WOW! (and I grew up in the country). Keep up the GOOD work and keep educating folks on the history and importance of farming! Thank you! And, by the way, the interaction between you and Cole the Cornstar really, really adds to y'all's message. God Bless, take care.
First thing I learned to drive was a 4440 when I was five. At the age of 13 (had to tell them I was 15) I went threw the golden key program with my grandfather for his new 8120 and was the started the tractor in front of his for the first time. Loved every moment of it! Sense then they’ve sold the family farm so your videos alway make me miss being on the farm.
I had a gold key tour for a 9520RX with 120" spacing. Glen was our tour guide and he was simply amazing. Was the best factory tour I have ever been on.
Lucky man. You are. As a diehard John Deere fan myself I found this video beautiful. Shame I live in Holland. But as always well done and keep it up 🙂🙂
This 8RX john deere , from what i see is the most impressive tractor i have seen ......... i grew up on a hilly farm , my first comments were .... this thing can farm hillsides . It has the heaviest steel i have ever seen . i have a strong feeling Deere has a big winner !!
Ben the grey haired Southern Vermont Electrician and Christmas Tree Farmer here. You are going to love Alaska! I’ve been up three times in the last 2 years visiting my son in the Air Force. I’d love to go on your tour, but I’ll be up there a month earlier than you fishing out of Seward. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t see Denali as she likes to hide in clouds. I always cry when I leave Alaska, not because I’m leaving family behind, because she’s so beautiful. Have fun and I enjoy your channel!
Hi Zach, nice to see you videotaping again. Love John Deere and appreciated seeing both the new row track tractors and the new museum. You going to encourage a lot of people to travel to Waterloo this summer. I also enjoyed seeing you with the Cornstar and brother Cooper. Thanks for keeping us informed. - Dean from Edina
We went to Waterloo over the summer and saw the museum. Very cool place. We also went over to East Moline and toured the combine factory. It’s stuff that could interest anybody. I don’t care if you’ve been a farmer your whole life or grew up in New York City and have never been around or been interested in anything agriculture, you’ll be hard pressed to not be fascinated.
I really enjoyed this video Zach.I'm going to have to check out that John Deere museum.I didn't see Deeres first tractor though,it was a coal burner and had no seat.I have a Ertl model of this tractor that was built back in 1892.
As a supplier to Deere, I’ve been in the Waterloo plant many times. It’s a very impressive operation. And I agree with you, no matter what brand is your favorite, the museum is an amazing place to visit. The history and the evolution, it’s a lot to take in and I’ve spent hours going through. Great video
You don't need all that equipment, Mike Bloomberg says a shovel, seeds and water is all you need to be a farmer...............................LOL Great videos, I always seem to learn something.
Ya know what's funny? I started watching you when I would drive past that museum to go to school. Funny how yt brings back memories even after I move out of state. Keep up the amazing videos
That's the beauty of leasing-contracts. I don't think any of the bigger farms here with us (netherlands) actually ''own'' the tractors and equipment but they got it all on lease and switch them out for newer/better models every few years
@@sandy1653 Smaller ones simply cannot afford the leasing contracts so they end up ''stuck'' with the 15+ year old stuff they DO own. I'm not that knowledgeable about leasing contracts but I believe for leasing to be a viable option. a company has to make 20 or 30% profit with their business. for every 100$ put in, they need 120 or 130$ back to get the margin that opens up leasing options.
Mike Bloomberg: Farming is just a process that anybody can be taught. You just dig a hole, drop a seed in, throw dirt on top,add water and you have a crop... Hey, it's a new video! Very interesting to this non farmer although I did grow up baling hay for my uncles and running the old equipment from the Farmall F-20 (wheels off the ground pulling ear corn wagons up steep hills) to the pony motors that I never did master starting the old deeres. Peoria is about 60 miles south of me. Thanks for the intertainment Millennial farmer.
Great video! When I was very young John Deere used to bring my Dad there prototype combines to test during milo harvest. Dad has been through the John Deere factories and talked about how amazing it was to see the combines going down the assembly line. When I was in College we ran prototype caterpillar 55 challenger tractors for Cat, that was an awesome experience. My blood has always ran green and will always run green but I enjoyed running the Cat prototype and talking to the engineer's. One day I hope to get to tour the John Deere factory as well as possibly the caterpillar.
Lol THAT was an awesome trip through the plant an?? I fell in love.. lol an the old plant was a blast down memory Lane ;-) an then?? When you woke up in Cole new wheels?? I just busted up laughing literally wiping the tears.... An it was sweet swing two farming pros completing !!..

Ok that tractor is badass
Too bad that the trip is US only.
