I installed the same protectors and used all three washers, it took some time and strength. But eventually it is good.

nice, can they withstand stationary drop? :)

Hi @robsonenduro3316, I believe they would certainly protect the surface of the cylinder heads from any abrasions. The pads between the engine and the protector would also buffer the hit. Having said that, if you are looking for the highest level of protection, there are a number of products available that bolt to the frame and would offer the best protection - not just with static drops but also with moving impact. Hope that helps?

HI Chris, may not be Nasa quality, but looks really good. That pop of red ties it together very nicely. Enjoy that lovely motorcycle & ride safe!

Thanks @garybarnes3975, I appreciate your support. Have you done the test ride yet? PS: Just installed the front fairing and windscreen, that video will be out soon. Stay tuned...

don't get the benefit.. you drop it, you break the heads anyways..? Scratch protection only?

Fair point @dismemberizer827 Mostly to prevent costly scrapes and to add a bit of red-to-the-head for cosmetic improvement. I'm not a fan of the more elaborate, albeit more protective crash bar options, so this is my compromise. And, of course, fingers crossed to never be needed! Ride safe brother.
