Hey @elithegreat6463😀, hope you are well. Thanks for comment🤗, you're right some owners dont realise there are two plugs per cylinder. I remember you said you had a 21 R9T-719, it's a black/silver one as I recall. How are the Dunlop Q3s, are you still running them?
@@outtheresomewhere Absolutely, I love the Q3+ Platform on Dunlops, and my R9T Still gets a crowd of onlookers when arrive to my local Bike Nights, Be Well 👍
Great video. Good information and quite fine photography. Last bike was a R9T Scram. Hope you someday get a Triumph 1200 scram and do videos on that machine!
Another good video Matt. I’m looking to take the headlight ring off my 21 model to powder coat it,do I have to take the whole light apart or will the ring come off on its own? Thanks bro 👍
Hey Barry😀, great to hear from you again. So that stunning bike of yours is about to get an update!💚. I love your idea of powder coating the headlight rim! Yes you can remove the rim without taking the entire headlight apart. On the 21 model take a look under the bottom of the headlight, you should see a small screw. Undo the screw, once that is out all that holds the rim on, is a steel tab at the top of the Headlight. I found turning while pulling the bottom gently out helped release the rim from the body of the Headlight. It's about as hard to get off, as the lid on a new jar of peanut butter😄 so dont force it, but give it a good hard turn. Good luck, let me know how you get on. Oh and I'd be keen to hear how the powder coating job turns out🤗
I did try this but thought I was struggling to much. I’ll give a little twist next time. Could you not take so long to reply next time 😜 Good luck Matt👍
Hi, I left my bike running for a little over an hour and the plastic covers popped off. There was a burning smell and the sight glass for the oil was empty. And the coils are sticking out. Can I just push them back in and turn the bike back on? It was recently serviced. My bike is always taken care of well except for this incident. Was serviced about a month ago.
It’s all about the rider my friend. I didn’t spend 13k on this BMW r Nine T Pure for it to sit in my shed. I got it in April with 3mi as a graduation from college present to my myself and it’s at 4395mi as of yesterday.
Awesome, nice video 👍🏼
Hey there @Texas Aviator, I'm glad you enjoyed it!😀. Thanks for the comment.
Lots of folks still don’t know there are two Plugs to the newer R9T 👍, Great video , I have a 2021 R9T-719

Clever option when you don't have the tool at hand. Thanks for sharing @zefini7397 👍😊

Don't turn the engine over even once. Push it on to a trailer and deliver it to a local mechanic.
Crikey , all that to pull a spark plug with it sitting out from under the tank. Now that's genius.
😆
Most motorcycles never get ridden long enough to worry about these issues,
+M owler in some cases that's sadly true.
