Hey Justin …. I worked for the State Environmental Conservation Police. I was watching an older video where you said bass fishermen are a$$holes. You are 100% correct. There are boating authorities that are out on the water that wear green uniforms. I also wear a green uniform, however mine said Police on it. They can write tickets but are not police officers. These guys during bass tournaments think they own the entire lake. Their attitudes sucks, they speed way above the limit, etc. I never look for petty trouble out on the water, however 90% of my tickets are to bass fishers. I love when I get into an argument with them until they realized I was a State Police Conservation Officer and not the lake authority.I would then do a boat complete inspection. 😅😅😅. FYI…. Hindsight's always 20/20 as they say. Regardless, it was a good video. You talked through your entire process and that's great for people trying to get better. Thanks for being consistent. If nothing else, consistency is the key to success. On a side note, that last catfish had me a bit confused. His whisker looked like a rod in the background with a takedown (I'd glanced away for a second). Justin, I was just about ready to yell at the screen when I realized I was the dumb*ss interpreting the scene. Yep, time to go to bed. 😂

That poor cat, went out for a bite to eat, & BOOM! it looks up face full of Flip flops, GoPro. The shock of knowing, made on the Kayak catfishing show, was to much, and it craps everywhere. You know it left with head held in shame so bad most likely changed it's name to Channel cat for blowing it when made the show
NICE VIDEO!!! I noticed this is two videos for catfish that you are leaving the GUT Pocket in? Trying something new? When I fish the OHIO the small fish chew on it if i leave it in. Been watching for two years and this is new. If by chance you get another HOT day find a creek with shade and CARP fish as i love those videos also! Stay safe and Tight Lines!!

Sunrise is the best 👍, Got myself a golly whopper rod & tekota reel but the 500 size doesn’t sit well in the reel seat, I guess the 600 size tekota has a wider reel foot 🤷♂️ still enjoying the rod, love the action & strength 👌 excellent rod
Thanks for buying the rod. The tekota reels are a little thin on the reel foot. I just used some joint pliers to tighten my reel seat down as tight as possible on them. That keeps them from slipping. You can also reach out to catfish sumo and they will send you some reel seat shims if need be too.
Great video as always Justin. I do have a question. I'm looking into purchasing a kayak with a trolling motor. How long are you able to spot-lock and what size battery are you using? Thanks so much!
I use 100ah lithium battery. Link to it in the video description. How long it lasts depends on a variety of factors. Impossible question to answer for you. I typically charge mine every other trip with how I fish
Heya Justin, another great video. We caught several today, some good ones, all along a Tennessee River ledge (20 to 60 ledge). They all had evidence of being in the mud and were pig fat. Was not expecting that this time of year. You seeing any with mud on them?

I get some with mud on them occasionally throughout the year although it seems to be more common in the winter months
