@scom scom I know I'm late but there's a mod for don't starve now called smashup and it's pretty much jiggly puffs "rest" but you charge it and it can cover up to like half of the stage
If by anychance the lights went out in Smash, feel as if the people from Don't Starve would be prepared.
I can imagine that being Winona's final smash: Everything becomes pitch black, only you carry a torch with a tiny radius. Charlie can attack everyone not under your little light up to two times, dealing large damage and strong knockback. In fact I should write a whole moveset for her for fun :D
Neutral Special: Quickly crafts a tool, which she can use as her weapon for a while. Using it while already holding a tool throws the tool back in an arc. Tool can be: Axe, Pickaxe, Hammer or Spear, each with unique damage-range-knockback stats.
Down Special: Crafts a catapult which aims and shoots at closeby players in an arc.
Up Special: Uses a desert stone and teleports upwards with the power of sands.
Side Special: Dashes sideways a bit with trusty tape, can stun enemies at close range.

Don't Starve would honestly make a cool addition. Such a unique style and atmosphere this game can deliver.
They could pull a Steve/Bowser Jr and have different characters be alts. The dream team for me is Wilson, Willow, Wendy and Webber.
Their final smash, I like to call Wrath of the Constant. The survivors use the Telelocator Staff to teleport anyone around them into The Constant, leaving their opponents at the mercy of the many monsters of the island, the coup de grace being delivered by ol' Deerclops itself.
I think the final smash should be picked at random between shipwrecked, reign of giants, and hamlet. same dmg, just a different cutscene

Don’t starve would be a really fun addition to Smash, I never thought about this being a possibility but man now I really want it!
Wilson Moveset Concept
Standards
Jab: Two spear slashes, finished off with a thwack from a ham bat.
Side Tilt: Wilson shoots a weak but high range blowdart that is affected by gravity.
Up Tilt: Wilson raises his spear with a sweet spot on the head of the spear.
Down Tilt: Wilson does a low to the ground spear attack. It sacrifices range for kill power.
Side Smash: Wilson uses a Ham Bat. His slowest smash attack, but his strongest.
Up Smash: Wilson waves a Dark Sword above his head. His most well rounded smash attack as it’s speed, range and damage are all average.
Down Smash: A piece of flint falls onto Wilson’s position from the top of the stage. It counts as a projectile, making it reflectable. If it hits Wilson he gets tripped, but it’s his fastest smash attack.
Dash Attack: Wilson rides forward on a beefalo. It sacrifices damage for speed and an above average hit box, along with super armor! Be careful though, he gets chucked off at the end, meaning you could potentially toss yourself off stage.
Neutral Air: Wilson spins with a luxury axe. It’s very fast, making for a great out of shield option.
Forward Air: Wilson swings a Ham Bat forwards from top to bottom. If someone is hit by it right before the bat stops moving, it spikes!
Up Air: Wilson makes a stabbing motion with his spear above him. Not much to it.
Down Air: Wilson shoots a blowdart downwards. Weak but long ranged.
Back Air: Same as forward air, but behind him. The spike has also been removed in favor of making it quicker then forward air.
Grab: Wilson’s grab is very average.
Pummel: Simple headbutt
Up Throw: He just chucks them upwards.
Down Throw: Wilson tosses the opponent down onto a hound trap, doing high damage but set knockback.
Back Throw: He throws the opponent backwards before shooting them with an electric blowdart, dealing electric damage.
Forward Throw: Back throw, but forwards.
Specials
Neutral B: Wilson shoots a fire staff, that works like a long ranged but less damaging PK Fire. Wilson has super armor when using this, making it a safe out of shield option.
Side B: Wilson tosses a piece of monster meat. If it hits someone in the front they eat it, poisoning them for 2 seconds. Be careful, if its deflected and it hits you in the front instead YOU’LL eat it and get poisoned. Can’t be shielded by anyone except the Wilson that threw it.
Up B: Wilson is grabbed by a shadow hand. Pick a direction and you will be teleported and released there. If the hand is hit it disappears, putting Wilson into freefall.
Down B: Wilson goes into a stance. Use buttons to get different items.
Y: Sleep Dart. A slow predictable projectile shooter that induces sleep on anybody who gets hit. 10 uses.
A: Jellybeans. Heals Wilson for the next 2 seconds upon consumption.
B: Pickaxe. A standard battering item that’s quite weak. It’s main purpose is that it breaks shields easily. 15 uses.
X: Bee Mine. Can be placed with the grab button. Once stepped on by any opponent, a bunch of bees follow and attack them for 6 seconds, similar to the bee hive. The trap stays for 10 seconds.
Only one Down B exclusive item at a time. Use it too much and you get...
Wet Goop. A next to useless throwable item. It counts towards your item count and if thrown offstage will teleport back on stage. In order to get rid of it for good you must eat it, which poisons you for 4 seconds.
Final Smash: Deerclops
Wilson dashes forwards, anyone caught (Up to 3 people) will be sent into a cinematic and the Winter’s Feast Deerclops shoots a devastating laser, before Wilson kills it with a Ham Bat. This does massive damage and drops 8 pieces of meat and one Deerclops Eye next to Wilson. The pieces of meat heal Wilson 10% each and the eye heals 45%. Be quick though because other people can eat it too.

I always feel like the series logo would just be the big K from the Klei logo, since it's their game. That is to say that no one else of their games gets in in that scenario.
Hambat is kinda fitting since it's the most popular weapon in the game, but I think a wilted sapling would fit the edgy tone more and feel simpler.

Agreed. The ideal dream team is Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, WX-78, Wickerbottom, Woodie and Webber.
But, if they can't manage such a size, Wilson, Willow, Wendy and Webber would be just as good.

Think about it, the new Smash Bros. is actually coming out. I think it would be great. It's 2D and very difficult to draw, but maybe it's possible.

It’s spring already so it calenderaly makes sense.
Ok. After some brainstorming, I got some spirit ideas.
1. Bearger
Fighter: Incineroar
Conditions: the enemy is giant. Strong winds will randomly appear.
2. Wolfgang
Fighter: Little Mac
Conditions: The enemy has increased attack power after a while.
3. Wendy (Don't Starve)
Fighter: Ice climbers
Conditions: You'll suddenly take damage.
4. The Wortox
Fighter: Ridley
Conditions: The enemy is tiny. The enemy can heal himself when taking damage.
5. Wickerbottom
Fighter: Robin (F), Wilson, and Willow
Conditions: Deafeat the main fighter (Robin) to win. The enemy has increased attack power after a while.
6. Wormwood
Fighter: Piranha Plant
Conditions: The floor is sticky. Fog covers the stage.
I'm not too familiar with the Don't Starve series, so comment below if you have any better ideas.

It's a tough game, but once you understand its mechanics, it is immensely satisfying to play. Building bases, surviving everything the world can throw at you.

@@ThatNubcakes It does basically ha e the same premise yeah. Main difference is that this game has tons of ways to kill you, and tons of systems to keep an eye on. Oh, and the characters have a lot to say. You'll get to know the characters very well with the metric butt-ton of quotes they have

I feel like Wilson would be saying random shit whenever he attacks or does anything, like if he's in water, he'd say one of his lines when he's extremely wet, like "oh, H2o"
For some reason, if this theme was looped, it could be someday in a mod of Jetpack Joyride x Don't Starve. Can already imagine Wilson and some other characters using that machine gun jetpack and cause havoc in labs.

Imagine if the supposed Don’t Starve Stage has its season change thus stage hazards change mattering on the season. Basically it changing every 15 or 10 minutes.
Ragtime, the winter EFS (Boss theme) and the winters feast menu theme are fan favorites too, I think. Remixing them would be nice too!

Is there any chance that you could make versions without the intro and the fadeout at the end so I could listen to these tracks on loop? It's not too much of a bother looping it as it is right now, but it'd certainly be nice having them as alternates. Attacking a nightmare has it teliport to a random place on the stage

Neutral special: Chester
tap it ones pull out Chester who starts with 3 random items,a random Crockpot food and a light source and has 9 item slots and tap it again to grab the item you've selected or put away the item your holding

Shoots ice balls that freeze after 3 hits.

Up special: Lazy explorer/Telilocater staff
Up special:tap it to if you're on the ground teliport forward, or if your in the air teliport upwards. Hold it to build a telilocater focus, if the t.f. is on the stage tap up special to teliport to the t.f. destroying it in the process, hold up special to aim and let go to launch a projectile teliports anything it hits to the t.f. destroying it in the process
Side special: Build structures
Side special:tap to build a structure, holdTo pick a different structure
Wilson Structures for SMASH
Stone walls
Protect against damage and has no build time. can have 3 out at once
Farm plot
Produces 2 to 6 food. Takes one food to build. can have 4 out at once
Pig house
Summons a recruitable pigman. can have 2 out at once
Ice fling-o-matic
Launches snowballs. can have 2 out at once
Chest
Drops two random chest loot. can have 3 out at once
Tent
When in it heal 20 every 4 seconds for 10 hunger. Can only have 1 out at once
Down special: Snack/Crockpot
tap down special to use 1 food to restore 5 health 5 hunger, hold down special to place a crockpot and pick a recipe to cook, and add 1 second to cook time for each food it costs(except monster ham, it still takes 6 seconds)

Honey Ham: 6 food, 30 health, 60 hunger
Dragon pie: 6 food, 60 health, 30 hunger
Meatballs: 2 food, 10 health 30 hunger
Trail mix: 2 food, 30 health, 10 hunger
