Reveal trailer: An army of clone fighters from Galeems army are beating down Mario and a few of his friends. A blast knocks Mario down, and his vision starts to blur, until he sees a figure jump into the field and fires a beam at him. Mario starts to glow red and gets back up, showing the Medic behind him.

Medic as a Support-based fighter sounds cool as hell. 1v1s might suffer a little as a result, but having medic be able to heal fighters on his team would be game changing, allowing for more *team based* team battles.
I agree with this. Medic seems touted as an "Assist Trophy" at best (whatever that is, I haven't played Smash) but he should have a sporting chance to do some fighting too.
@@ryarod Assist trophies are items that you can activate to summon someone to help you for a limited time. Like Waluigi, who just walks over to the opponent and proceeds to curb stomp them, or Shovel Knight who runs and jumps around, occasionally digging to inflict damage and sometimes dig up items.
Maybe insted of attacking completly himself he summons the other mercs for his attacks. It's called TEAM fortres 2 after all.

The only real way I can see Medic working as a character is if the whole character would like a 5 in one character with Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Heavy, and Medic, and when you have Medic out you can heal yourself to heal the rest of the party and it fills up a little meter, when its full you can uber one of your other classes and when you switch to that class they will come out ubercharged

I’m honestly puzzled why TF2 isn’t in smash at all, even as spirts at least it’s still insanely popular after all these years and prolly will be for a LONG time. The characters are so memorable and unique and meme worthy.
It honestly just seems like Nintendo/Sakurai just never bothered asking Valve. Considering the Half-life references that were added to Death Stranding, and GladOS being in various games, I'm pretty sure Valve is chill with letting developers use their IP as an easter egg or reference.

The perfect reveal would be Bowser fighting mario, the usual, then mario uses his final smash with a huge fireball. The cloud of dust and smoke settles, and an Übercharged bowser walks out of it with the medic.

What if the Medic were an assist trophy?
Here's how he would work:
He will first heal the fighter who summoned him then after 4 seconds, he will activate ubercharge. The fighter will be rendered Invincible for 5 seconds. Then after the ubercharge has been drained, he will disappear.
When he leaves: *"Another successful procedure!"*
It'd be cool if when playing with FS meter, once the Medic is ready to use his Final Smash he shouts, "I am fully charged!"

Medic would actually be a really interesting character to play as. We don't really have anyone on the roster capable of healing themselves or others in a significant way.

i always thought getting a tf2 fighter would be hard, since having just 1 character wouldn't properly represent the most important thing about tf2 - the team. But now I have an idea: Heavy and Medic. Similar to ice climbers, there's 2 fighters controlled by 1 player. The challenge for the player is to keep the medic alive, and just like ice climbers you'll be at a serious disadvantage if one of the 2 dies. - even worse if the medic survives and the heavy dies

Weapon Concept Of Medic Moveset:
Most of the A/Attacks will just be relying on using certain Bonesaws.
A/Jab: Three Hit Jab. Medic swings his Bonesaw from side to side using his right hand, then finishing off the combo by shooting one syringe from his syringe gun.
Side Tilt: He pokes the enemy using his Bonesaw with his right hand.
Up Tilt: He swings upward using his Ubersaw with his right hand (most of the attacks will have him use his right hand cus in most first person shooter games like TF2 have the player hold the weapon in their right hand/right side.)
Down Tilt: It would just have Medic hit the floor with his Bonesaw launching the enemy into the air.
Side Smash: it would have Medic do the Spinal Tap Tauntkill, aka the tauntkill where he says "I'M GOING TO SAW THROUGH YOUR BONES!" while pushing his Ubersaw into the enemy's chest. But instead of that, this smash would be Medic's most dangerous one. It would come out slow, but is hard hitting dealing about %35 damage.
Up Smash: Medic would use his Syringe Gun and shoot a few of them around himself from infront of himself circiling towards the back. This would be the weakest smash attack for Medic but does have long range.
Down Smash: Medic would bring out two Bonesaws and bring them down on both sides hitting both enemies on both sides. Working like DK's down smash.
Grabs: Medic would be a short range grab. He would grab the enemy with his left hand while having his right hand holding a Bonesaw. His Punish/Grab Attack would have him hit the enemy with his Bonesaw. His Front Throw would have him use his Syringe Gun and shoot a syringe at the enemy's chest while pushing them slightly forwards. The back throw would have Medic use his Bonesaw and put it on his enemy's chest. Then move his Bonesaw behind himself moving the enemy behind himself.
The up throw would have Medic do an uppercut with his Bonesaw, pushing his enemy upwards. And for his down throw would have Medic move his Bonesaw upwards then downwards hitting the foe and making them trip.
Neutral B/Special: "Syringe Gun" This would just have Medic use his syringe gun to shoot. Pressing it once would have it shoot 3 syringes. But by holding down the Special Button would have Medic shoot more syringes. He can shoot them for 7 seconds until on cooldown to shoot again. The wait time would be about 15 seconds.
Side B/Special: "Chargin Targe Healer" This would have a Demoknight appear (using the Booties, the Eyelander, and the Chargin Targe (duh)) and charge forwards. Medic would also be using the Quick Fix because he would also charge with the Demoknight. The Demoknight and Medic would be able to charge for half of the Final Destination stage. The charge damage would be about %41 damage. If the two hit a wall, the charge instantly stops. Right after the charge stops the Demoknight would go away after that. If you press B while in the middle of the charge, Demo would swing his Eyelander dealing about %35 damage towards the enemy while also stopping the charge. This cannot be spammed, so this will take a 15 second charge to do charge again.
Up B/Special: "Rocket Jump" Just like the side special, a merc would appear but not Demo. It would be the Soldier. Medic would also be using the Quick Fix for this. Soldier would Rocket Jump while having the Medic fly upwards with him. The rocket that comes from Soldier's Rocket Launcher does about %23 damage. The wouldn't be in free fall after the jump though. If you press B while in the air after the Rocket Jump, Soldier would be able to shoot a rocket downwards. When the two land, Soldier will disappear.
Note About Side And Up Special: Just like Duck Hunt's Side Special, the Demo and Soldier can be damaged. If they are hit once, it would cancel the specials. So be careful when using them.
Down Special: "Medigun" if it is a normal match, then Medic would just heal %50 of his damage. But if it's Team Battle, Medic would be able to heal his teammates (if he has Teammates.)
Mechanic For Medic: He would be able to heal %0.3 percent of his health per 3 seconds.
Final Smash: "MEET THE MEDIC!" This would be a Cinematic Final Smash. First, the Medic would charge forwards while having his bonesaw out. If anyone isn't in his way, then he would fall and trip. But if anyone IS in his way, he will hit the foes in his way with his Bonesaw. This can hit all 7 players, so they better be careful. Then the foes will be sent to the same battlefield as Meet The Medic was. Then, the Medic will Ubercharge the Heavy while having the him shoot his foes with his Minigun, dealing tons of damage! And if the enemies' damage percent are at atleast %70 percent they will be KO'd. If not, they would just be blasted off away from the Medic. Ending with Medic pulling his glove while saying "Did that sting? Sorry."
SKINS/COLOR PALLETS: (Might contain spoilers about TF2 Lore!) The first one would be RED Team Medic, also referencing one of the characters in the TF2 Lore Redmond Mann. The second would be BLU Team Medic, also referencing another characters in the TF2 Lore Blutarch Mann. Next would be a Purple Alt having his Medic symbols, his gloves, and his pants be in a purple scheme referencing Ms. Pauling and the Administrator. The next two would be the same thing as the first two colors except having Medic have a Bird Head! Referencing a cosmetic in the game called the Medimedes, where Medic has a Archimedes Bird head. The next would be the same as the last two except would have Medic be in the Cainis Ex Machina set. This has Medic have a Dog head and some robotic things around himself. Then finally he would have a alternative costume where he is the Robo-Medic from Mann Vs. Machine Mode. This would also change his voice from normal to robotic.
His stage intro would have him do a pose with his Medigun while Archimedes fly from behind. This would also be a up taunt.
For his side taunt, he would do the Spinal Tap Tauntkill. This would actually kill an enemy if they are too close enough.
And for his down taunt, it would have him do a bow and say "Danke, Dummkopfs." Which means in German, "Thank you, Blockheads."
Now for his Victory Animations, his first one would be exactly like his intro and his up taunt, where he does a pose while Archimedes fly behind him.
Next would have him do the Kazotsky Kick Taunt.
Then for the last one would have him do the Schaudenfraude Taunt, which in German means "Malicious Laugh".
Now there is an exclusive one that can only happen if the round ends with Medic using his Final Smash/KOing everyone at the end with his Final Smash, where it would reference Meet the Medic. It would have Medic and Heavy standing on top of their enemies (not dead btw but just in pain by being stepped on) while the two are ubered while having Heavy just shooting everywhere then after the announcer says "Medic Wins!" the uber stops. Now if it was a 1v1 match, then it would have the enemy you fought and the last 2 enemies you fought last round. This will not happen if you fought 3 to 7 enemies in the round.

if the medic gets in it probably as a duo with heavy where it would kinda work like ori and sein in RoA where the medic is consistently 1 second behind heavy and heavy gets a boost from the medic being near (percentage healing?).

Neat idea. What if, since he regenerates health, every five seconds or something he could lose some damage? So if you're good at dodging you would be a very big threat since what damage you would take would be "healed"
Honestly I think spy would work very well in TF2. The only real changes needed would be 1: no walking noises while invisible. 2: Players on different switches should be able to see themselves and friendly spies.
Edit: 5 months later, and I realize this would be a really stupid idea.
