Arguably two of the best wild trout flies The pheasant tail and The sexy walts worm. At first i didnt think the sexy walts worm was going to be able to catch upto the pheasant tail but after a couple of fish it ended up being closer than i thought. In the end the sexy walts worm ended up being the better of the two wild trout flies

Always a good time on those wild trout streams. My sons and I were fishing the LACKAWAXAN over the weekend holiday, and my oldest son caught his first tiger trout . Was amazing, we caught some really nice trout. Killing them on the roastertail . As always TIGHTLINES BUDDY

What line setup were you using on that fly rod and where did you get it

My main line was opst line blood knotted to whatever sighter you like to a tippet ring to tippet material very very simple

@@cadedale there’s probably videos that would help you decide what to get better than what I can tell you. Don’t take what I use as the gold standard it’s definitely not. Mono is typically used for euro nymphing and fly line is used for dry fly fishing or fishing with an indicator
