Thanks. Me too! I can't wait for the D2. Although, I really like this Kinki Sharyo model...I'm going to miss when DART replaces them in the future. Right now, BART (SF Bay Area) is replacing all of their old fleets. It is sad to see the older fleets go...there's a history/memories behind it.
CAF Urbos and Kinki Sharyos are another LRV providers...others like Stadler (high speed rail, intercity trains, commuter rail, and streetcar), Brookville (focus mainly on streetcar or locomotive), Hyundai train (commuter rail).
Everytime I've gone i went during the afternoon (3-6pm) and usually it's pretty crowded, especially the train back during the night. But if you're going at night yeah i see how it would be empty.

If you’re wondering where does it go after that It goes to the yard to loop and go back to Union Station
I usually get to the state fair by taking the TRE from Richland Hills Station to Victory Station and then taking the green line to Fair Park
