You are so much fun to watch! Full of respect. Calm and peaceful. And that's why you can work without the full gear I guess.

Hell, I don't even have to squash a bee to get my girls unhappy. All I have to is be in their vicinity. Meaning within 20', which is unfortunate because they are under my porch, so I can't be on my porch at night.

Help me understand. Your title says it’s a 50 year old hive yet in the video you mention it appears to be 6 months to a year old!?!? What did I miss?

I like the fact that, that man had no 😨 fear of the bee”s while he was rescuing them from the house.I”d “freak out,”and then, they’d probably sting me?I think men are braver than women are? It”s nice that bee”s are rescued, though! And,I just learned;that they do “give off”an alarm ⏰ odor!I 💭 thought those:Brazilian killer bee”s did this!I guess, now,I’m wrong, here!

First found your TikTok through Snapchat and then followed on Instagram now made it here and I am so happy I came here. I am obsessed with bees and honey and all my friends know it so this is just so relaxing and pleasing to watch

    great job!!
And that hive isnt 50 years
The queen wasnt being balled. Bees do that with their own queen when their hive is opened up.
When bees swarm, they hardly do so to a location right next to the parent hive.

No they just called him right when they was swarming and put them back together half of was going to go with the other Queen and half of them was going to stay there I really don't think they know what they're doing too much

No particularly pleased that you're holding the queen by her wings... that's what queen clips are for. You hurt the queen, you hurt the colony. Her one job is to give birth. Hence why she has attendants to make sure she's okay. Also, where is your travel hive? Bees can chew through cardboard. I'm deeply concerned about how you're handling the bees and their honeycomb, brood and food... The fact that you have their comb just lying on its side like that is incredibly depressing. If comb was meant to be like this, bees would have designed it that way. Unless you have information to counter my worries, I can't help but think, that you're doing more harm than good.

It activates their "forest fire instinct" which makes them gorge as much of their honey therefore distracting them from the person
