I remember when Rhys meant business who was incompetent. Now he's just supposed to be a likeness to Jack (in terms of us loving him, not referring to jack's personality)
The relationship between characters were trashed at BL3. They acted like no one knew each other and killed off many. Whoever took over and made the plot sucks emotional. Roland/Lilith eta was the best even the the story was still building. I thought always liked Timothy doppelgänger better than Rhys.. both Jack replacement. Rhys is a shit character honestly lol.
@@Mhagleech Ok so Im going to put out my Opinion based on my perception of the game: Borderlands 2 was better than Borderlands 3 in terms of Story, and the Characters. This is because Jack as a VIllain compared to the Twins, he right off at the beginning the story is setup that you're a hired merc looking for a vault and Jack hired you. Then he betrays you by trying to blow up his competition. He was evil in a way where as you progressed through the game you can see as he goes from a lackadaisical attitude to being very angry and serious at the end. The whole time you're playing you just cannot wait to meet this guy who has been doing nothing but talking behind the Microphone. You do meet jack midgame but thats just a cutscene. (and Jack is a total pushover in the endsadly, but at the same time matches his cowardliness and shows how he is just weak). On the other end the Twins are just evil in annoying way where you can't wait to beat the game and consider it a loose end...However BL3 is good in its own way where it seems like theres so much shit to do where I cannot even begin where to start at the end of the story by the time I did my second playthrough. I haven't even started any of the takedowns yet or any DLCs except for Handsome Jackpot. anyways uh sorry long story

I got the Fran death ending too, but if the ending about QTE and choices, I got the choices down right but maybe I shouldn't have spent thoses 2 good minutes punching Susan by slowing down my taps....

Despite coming into this game expecting a mediocre 4/10 adventure, I really liked it. My only big criticisms are tied to Episode 5, but for the case of this video, the vague ending choices and how they effect who survives. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the universe didn't explode in one of three different colors, but having more of an idea over what impacts the ending(s) would've been a much better design choice. In my initial run, Fran died and I have no idea what I did wrong.
After one year later I got a different scene. They’re in the yogurt shop and Oct and Louie died. You’re assuming that the same dialogue options were picked episode 1 through episode 5. That would be the only way anyone would end up with the exact same ending you did.
creators wanted a strange, cringey and loud boss for anu so they remembered players loved rhys in the first game and decided to ruin him.... he was my fave in tftb but here he's the complete opposite of himself this game is... average but I somehow liked it. the plot was a mess mostly but the characters were great. I loved lou13, anu, phuong, stapleface and fran. I also live for scenes between anu and stapleface!!! all i wanted is for them to be a couple. they kinda reminded me of maya and krieg...
I think I'm in the same boat as you. Though I do wish the game utilized its characters more. Remember in the first game how you could pick characters you met to join you in the final mission? It would have been great if we could have done the same here.

Well i got it. I Fusioned the Gems, then it Killed fran because she‘s a murderer. Than i needed to tell with octavio some facts about Anu, if it was correct then i decided for anu, not the Gem. my Skateboard score was about 60%

Whelp, let’s all just come to the conclusion that borderlands 3 AND this game NEVER EVER happened, and that the characters we all grew to love from Tales from the borderlands were never resolved….
This is by far the weakest boss fight in the history of gaming 😔. Its pacing is all over the place, the boss who is supposed to be godlike is standing around doing nothing most of the time, and the old lady in the wheelchair does more damage than the alien god 😭.
Man this game was straight up cringe garbage. Gearbox has ran the borderlands series into the ground after the masterpieces bl2 and the original tales. Im still buying the games though so I guess I cant complain too much :(
