  • We have started renovation at our NSB Lincoln project but before tackling the kitchen we worked with Genuwine Cellars to install a spiral wine cellar. The cellar is accessible from the kitchen floor and drops down below the basement slab. Watch to see the process from start to finish!
    How do we manage our projects from the big picture all the way down to the smallest detail?

    Could you out temporary plywood doors on for the remainder of construction and then install the glass ones?

    It looks great, but I'm not sure of the point of it when they already had a basement. Cellars are normally dug into the ground to utilise the natural constant temperature of the soil around it, i.e. approximately 55F to keep your wine in good condition without the need for an external cooling device?

    Beside the unique design, did the owners who not into wine drinking changed into a 1800 spiral wine cellar?

    • @NSBuilders
      @NSBuilders  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vaughn Hostovich they like wine and appreciate wine, it was a random question that caught them off guard and really didn’t have plans store wine So yes I think they will truly fill this thing up!

    Nutz! The 1:30 time-mark of the video showed extreme moisture issues of concrete efflorescence on the old foundation walls. This thing is destined to be an expensive sump-drain vault...replete with floating bottles of fine wine!

    1800 bottles of wine means you never drink it 😉
