- Welcome!! Here's the new and most interesting episode about renovating the homestead. In the previous episode, we installed the sewage system and a panoramic window, and today we will talk about building a wine cellar, installing a spiral staircase, insulating the floor, pouring a dry screed, working with rebar, and much more interesting stuff! Enjoy watching!
At the moment we have very little left to finish it. But the project is currently frozen because we are stuck with expensive items such as custom suspension, wheels and car registration. Please support our project!
We will appreciate every dollar.

Louis, thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you like this project!
window will be crushed in winter or in spring. As house is wooden he gets moisture he grows in winter he dries so he shrinks. Thats why you need a gap on top of the window. Window sides need boxes that house could move freely from windows. and what you did, mid section removed, you need long screws (gluhary) 3 beams screw together. It will make a structure. Don't do things on wooden house that you can do on block house they are different families and work different builds different.
Had the same thought
Thanks for watching and your reply. Everything will be ok. We hope so. Anyway we'll see)

Hi, be carfull with up travelling moisture. Because of the concrete slap you mostlikely have higher molsture on its edges to the natural stone foundation and the wooden walls. I am from germany and many of our old timberframed houses have problems with somewhat wet cellars after they removed the old clay floor that could "breath" and build in concrete floors. Nice video tho. Maybe with the diffrent climate you wont have that problem as we do her.
Thanks for watching and your concern!
Should build a perimeter concrete slab, to help a gutter and barrier from ground water. It would help keep the cabin dry, for underneith it.
Thanks for watching and your reply.
Have been wanting to see one of these circular wine cellars built for a while now and it's coming along great! Haha is there anything you guys don't know how to do!? Awesome work as always!
Happy to be useful! Thanks for watching!
This is awesome!! I love the idea of the wine cellar! I think the cabin will turn out realy great in the end! Do You hawe any plans for the old barn site? if some of the exterior could possibly be reconstructed it would look great as a garage or something else one need.
Thank you so much for your support! We are thinking about it. Thanks for nice idea.
