My opinion on camera ranking: 1 - Oppo. Honestly, some of these pics look professional level. It's hardly surprising this takes the lead, given the fact the Chinese phones always seem to have some of the best cameras. Almost every picture taken here was the best. 2 - Samsung S24 Ultra. I would say at extreme zoom this one is actually better than the Oppo. But the trouble is, it's just a bit inconsistent. Sometimes shots just appear over-saturated, and sometimes they're fine. I think there is often a bit TOO much processing here. And as a Samsung user myself, I find this to be the case with my S23 Ultra as well. 3 - iPhone 16 Pro. What the hell happened here? Why are the pictures from this phone so BAD?! I thought iPhone cameras were meant to rival Samsung! I can't say any of these pictures you took with this phone were as good as even the Samsung ones. Everything looks so drab and dark. Also, it's 2024 and just about every company except Apple makes phones that zoom to at least 100x, but the iPhone still tops out at 25x. What gives?
Same. I saw a few pics where it wasn't so good to be honest, but overall I like the pics from the S24U more than the others. Certainly more than the iPhone.
I owned and OPPO X2 Pro for a few years and "upgraded" due to updates being no longer available. I "updated" to a Google Pixel 8 pro and I have to say that in many ways the "old" OPPO was still at least as good if not (in a few areas better) than my new one, regardless of all the arguably useless AI malarkey.
I had a find X3 and have same experience now that i changed to a pixel 9, really happy with the pixel but thé build Quality and speed on Oppo devices is just amazing

They are all good in their own way, with pros and cons. So, I would not base my phone choice on the cameras because of that. To me, and I suspect the core fanbase for every OEM, it is the ecosystem, OS, and brand loyalty. That is the reason my primary device is always an iPhone, as my work is in the Apple ecosystem. We can be picky about minor negatives, but ultimately, for most "average users," a good main sensor is all they really need, and even mid-range devices offer that with aplomb. These videos will guide OEMs in improving the less favourable results. In 2024, my main gripes include poor RAM management despite 12GB+, noticeable in my Pixel 8 Pro, which kills apps after a few hours and most overnight, whereas my iPhone keeps them in memory. Also, notification delays. The Pixel could be better here, too. I suspect Google is doing this and RAM to save battery, but I would like an option to turn this off.
No , the software experience is phenomenal . It's super smooth , fast and very customisable ... But you stick to your racial beliefs . Even though iPhones are made in China , Samsung in Korea and most likely nearly everything you purchase .

I prefer
1. Oppo find X8 Pro
2. Galaxy S24 Ultra
3. Iphone 16 pro max
Really surprised with Find x8 pro.
I actually prefer the pictures on the Samsung almost in every shot.

Give us what we really want. A true clash of the titans. The Oppo vs a Pixel 9 Pro. Anyway, great video!
I prefer S24 ultra to be honest
Whats the availability of the Oppo phone in the us. Do the major carriers support it and if sk how easy is it to get in the us. Thanks!

I honestly like this review. Made me really think about potentially getting an Oppo phone.
If a company sponsors a video, dont expect real criticism of em
I don't like the Oppo camera in the middle that's just me personally
Oppo Find X8 Pro seems better in those use cases.

Hi
So the Oppo is basically better at everything except software?
Yup. Sounds like a Chinese phone to me

It's basically as good just not as feature packed as OneUI, they are offering 5 years of os support which is enough and more than most android makers
