Lexis, this is brilliant ! am proper fante man but lots of respect for Asantehene, and the wife I was fortunate to be in business class Ghana airways with Asantehene to Baltimore from Accra about 20 years ago. He had a little chat with me and was told to go down on my knees , the wife was amazing am glad to watch this as I always wondered if they had any kids. She is done very well and am very proud of her. He actually asked me to come back to Ghana after my studies and help my motherland. Brilliant King he is.
Yes, Otumfuo has children. But this lady is his niece.

The question here is how long did it take her to realize the change in direction and the choices made. I am sure a lot of the Asantefo) don’t and couldn’t stay married to people from their line of culture especially where there is no loyalty or respect and in the new world we are now it is more than hard with the exposure she had but it is crazy that she now has regrets

Most Asantes or Akans have 2 names. Her real name is what she stated. Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem. The Caryn is kinda her formal and I believe the Agyemang Prempeh is prolly from her husband.
