- NFL Street is an awesome football game. Even in 2022, NFL Street offers great gameplay and a fun experience. We are going to build a team of 7 players from past series and look to take down the NFL Challenge Mode in NFL Street. If you enjoy this, we could also explore NFL Street 2 and 3.

Seeing Bledsoe the slowest man alive run the option was interesting

Dolphins were actually kinda loaded in this game. They got 4 of the top few players at their positions. I always took Sam Madison though because he's basically the best DB in the game.
Madison or Champ Bailey (1 inch taller than Sam) are very good in this game :)
The Dolphins were good that year. Go back and play Madden 2004, they were legit!
Love the progression from playing this game like madden to cane celebrating in a circle before a score for no reason in a challenge lol

My brother and I use to play this game all the time when it first came out. It was the only football game I ever played and got really into. I was 6 and my brother was 14 at the time. He was the one super into football/The NFL and playing this game with him was how he introduced me to the sport. Soon after I would play street football at our neighborhood park with him and his friends. We would tackle the hell out of each other and to this day, I don't know how we didn't sustain any serious injuries from playing so rough.
Watching this gameplay is so nostalgic. Great commentary btw. Your voice sounds like it belongs on a sports channel.

@Cane- Re the “Rubber Banding” there is a feature in game called “CPU Assist”. You can see it in Settings and disable it for pickup games but its on Automatically for Challenge Mode. The game literally tells you that it has it in game too they don’t even try and hide it lol
Keep growing the team and you will get the shutout. I finally got mine against the Steelers after 23 games.
4 divisions left for my team and I shut out the NFL Legends on hard mode :D
The venom series is easily my second favorite of all your series.
I miss it.
And miss the fun of the off-season tuff in that game.

For the record, the Austin Venom versus your current Giants franchise would be an absolute barn burner. That cupcake franchise is among my favorites of yours man. Great video can't wait for the next episode

When ever you see a player creep, that means they are going to blitz. The audible button is, believe, L1. Once Audible appears, hit one of the direction buttons to change the play. Hit R2 to see the play it switched to. I can't think off the top of my head of what they are. To cancel the audible, I believe it's L1 then when Audible appears, hit Triangle.
Not sure if you know this in regards to the ball hitting the roof and game physics. But if you tap the pass button it’ll always be a lob pass, if you press and hold the pass button it’ll be a bullet pass. Regardless of the distance it always goes off of your press method. Just a heads up to improve your game!

Idk if it's in the Playstation version, but on gamecube you could press style + diving tackle to do a reckless tackle. It takes away some player control but gives much better fumbling rates. Hope that helps!

I don't think there's much rubberbanding going on, I think you just start playing much more aggressively and carelessly when you have a big lead, and the AI catches on to your playcalling (which does get repetitive, you roll out to the right almost every time to pass for example).
You probably should've had that shutout though, just an unlucky bobble

Tom Brady wasnt the Golden God at this point in his career. He was a game manager like Alex Smith. That Defense won for them quite a bit. He was good at driving down into FG range for the game winner, though.

yeah, the all-star teams definitely don't take the best players every time. I think they take 3 players from each team.
So the Bills had Moulds, Milloy and Bledsoe
Dolphins had Taylor, Thomas, and Williams
Patriots had Law, Brown, and Colvin
Jets had Abraham, Mawae, and ???
Also, I haven't played street in a while but I think only Manning had a better passing rating than Bledsoe he was just slow as hell.
Also, if you've ever heard Ricky Williams talk, that's clearly not him doing the voice acting. His voice is much softer than that.

This game does have AI catchup, if you look at the settings, its there and you cannot change it.
