I will keep in mind your words when I’ll get another dog because this topic it’s vital! I always learn something new and super useful from you so thank you so much 🧡
Thank you for this video. I was walking my dog with my friend and their dog since he was a puppy and rarely on his own. I started going out for training sessions and walks with just me and him and I've realised that we have both missed out on a lot not having done it sooner. We've really bonded a lot more and his obedience has improved. I'm getting another dog soon and will be walking them separately, especially at the beginning. So thanks for this video as I've met people who think its a weird idea and tried to convince me its not the best thing for the dogs to take them out separately.
It's said that these are a 1 dog household breed, but it's hard not to get another. Also I think it's a lottery with the intensity. My 1st staffy was an explosive athlete and was never hostile towards any animal. My current staffy pup is shaping up to be feisty towards other dogs and doesn't seem to be as interested in sports like my 1st.
I walk my 2 boys together and my 2 girls together because the boys want to mark up everything 😂…. Females just walk and pay attention. My staffys are also older so….
So agree - setting our dogs up for success depends on our planning and setting ourselves as owners up for success.
