Nice vlog! I think you would have enjoyed the cruise more (and the food) if you stayed in The Yacht Club during your MSC cruise. It’s a ship within a ship concept with more options and a dedicated high end restaurant and a poolside buffet for your meals. You would have never went to the buffet. One thing I got from your blog was… when solo traveling you are not on anyone’s clock for anything. You can do or don’t do as mush or little as you want. That’s liberating to a person living in constant structure. Even on vacation, as a father you find yourself having to …..facilitate everything lol. Solo cruise you can just catch a vibe for a few days to reset and get back to it.

I didn't have a good experience...the hammock was amazing...I would probably try it again..I want to try the Virgin Greece cruise. I saw your review of that awhile ago. I have heard mixed reviews of MSC. So glad to see your review from a solo black girl. I would probably try that for a nice inexpensive weekend getaway.
I hate you didn’t have a good experience. What happened? I do think the Greece one is amazing. I actually have a group going next August, that might be a good one to join.
@@TheJennDanielle We missed both Key West and Bimini due to weather and ship couldn't dock. We did a day in Nassau instead. It rained the whole time. Scarlet night was moved inside. I got seasick..first time in about a dozen cruises. I think half the ship was stick because the waters were so rough. They were giving out seasick meds. I forgot to book my dining when it opened. So the good restaurants were booked when I finally booked a week later and there was longggg line to book after you got on the ship. There are always risks when sailing during hurricane season. I just feel like I didn't get the whole experience. I have a big trip planned for May. Not sure if I will have enough PTO time saved up by Aug but I would definitely be interested in getting more info. I will find your contact info and email you. Thank you!

I love MSC cruise. Shows and activities are excellent. Fantastic ships. Food is questionable! It has salads, deserts, drinks, best oatmeal raisin cookies on any cruise line. Hamburgers are hockey pucks, the worst, you may find a mistake, one that is cooked well! Joseph & Corine Wilson On Deck With CB!
It’s honestly not bad. To be honest, I’m normally listening to something in my headphones or scrolling on my phone so I rarely notice others around me. I did meet people at the bar and hot tub.
Thanks for your honest opinion, but everyone is different on their taste in food. I watched 100 videos on the pizza...you grabbed a different pizza! Some people are afraid to try something different like indian food? I love indian food!!! Who wants a hamburger on a cruise...go to McDonald's! Lol You didn't really venture out and try things outside of your comfort zone.
Not every moment makes the videos but I tried a number of things. People do have different tastes and I still stick with my overall experience that the buffet food wasn’t great. Thank you for watching.
Love this! For the the 3 meal specialty dining plan, was there any way to give your preference before the cruise, since they pre-select them for you? Coming from maybe the only person in the world that doesn't eat tacos/burritos often 😅

No, unfortunately they selected for you on this ship. If I remember correctly, there was a 2 restaurant option.
