I started playing the game 2 days ago and I must say, I’m impressed and wished I have seen your video from day1.
Unfortunately I’m already rolling on T2 Aragorn and Haldir fortunately I’ve been leveling Eowyn and she’s @25 now, and Dwalin @16.
I know already spent too much time with Aragorn and Haldir but I really liked and prefer the latter 2 commanders.

You’re welcome! It might not be too late to swap over to Eowyn and Dwalin. In the long run taking some time now might pay off more later. Especially if you’re playing as Rohan or Gondor.

It's so interesting how complete different strategies can obviously work. My whole server agrees on the fact that you should always go for control maxed out and stamina first.
Beside that also good tip for beginners is to not do tavern tips first 48 hrs. Simple but effective.
And to weapon breakdown stuff: you even can get back the weapon you used to refine sth (not strengthen, but refine)

In my opinion stamina isn’t good until you’re PVPing or taking high power keeps - if you’re a no life player who logs in every 5-6 hours. If your primary commanders never hit the stamina cap, then having stamina doesn’t benefit you at all.

@@Phoenix_Gaming even those types of players benefit from it because it also regenerates faster if once maxed out.
I'm 2 months late. Free go play and I'm still loving this game, I'm a massive fan of lotr so I was excited to try this and I like it. Are these perks and commanders still good? Also I'm playing Gondor, cause I'm fan boy for them. Is that a good faction? Should I change it when I level up more?
The commanders and ring build should still be accurate/relevant, although I would place some more weight on Arwen because of the latest patch.
Gondor is a strong faction but it might depend on your server. They seem to be a more popular choice in season 2 than season 1. Having an active/full faction is going to be more important than which faction you choose - numbers mean a LOT in this game.

How do you find a server that's about to start anew while waiting on the new season to start? I did some world hopping and it seems everyone is already half way through a season
If you’re looking for a fresh season one server, I believe that they’re started at 1600 UTC each day. At least that’s when they used to create them.
Can you make an update on this? With the new updates and such?
I’ll try to remember to after a season or two of the new changes. Assuming I like them heh

Is there a land territory limit?
Yeah, 216 tiles if you have a fully upgraded ring and complete all the chapter objectives. Technically more in Rebuilding Glory if you control and upgrade Dol Guldur.
What server did you guys restart in?
I suppose that would have been good information to include hahaha. We're on 575 but Rohan is full currently :(

It does, if you're f2p you will just want to be more conservative with your building and apothecary boosts and you may have to go a little bit slower with tiles since your commanders won't be as strong.
But overall, the general game plan and strategy should work for f2p or paid players.

@@Gator-Raid You definitely want to grab Lurtz from the first season 1 chest.
Khamul isn't fantastic but for $1... he's not bad by any means.
As far as the event chests and season 2 season pass chests that allow you to choose your own T2 commander to get respect items from, I would recommend:
Gothmog, The Shadow (needs to be at least R5), Lurtz (take him to R5), and potentially Zegrid if you're fighting a lot of Rohan/Gondor but the real hero of evil T2 in my opinion is Gothmog. I would not recommend investing in Adunae, but the first season 2 chest can drop Adunae or Zegrid respect items. Unfortunately it also comes with Beruthiel's items and she is... underwhelming.
Otherwise, you'll want to aim for WK or Sauron - check each chest's drop tables (there is a little ? next to the chest's name on the screen where you can open them) and open chests that have a chance to drop WK or Sauron or their respect items. Unless you're a heavy spender, just pick one of those two to focus on unless you want to do something off-meta and invest in Black Serpent or Kirun.
