getting rid of lower level tiles for higher level tiles is worth it unless your tiles aren't maxed out. Also from what i'v seen so far the elves and Mordor seem like the most powerful factions.
1 - always delete tiles and upgrade tile power limit 2 - always use ability points on mock battle on your highest tiles you should be pushing for a high tile in your first couple of days (do this by hitting high tile closest to you send multiple armies etc doesn’t matter if you use a lot of troops) 3 - look into best skill builds for each of your heroes and place correct armies for them 4 - never use tier 1 or 2 troops and never upgrade them they’re trash Hope this helps
Yes it is about economy. You should always have max amount of tiles occupied and then if you have low lvl tiles and have stamina and units to upgrade example from lvl 6 (60) to lvl 9 tile (170) you should always do that. You should delete that lvl 6 tile and get a lvl 9 one. Always. And yes max dominance and rush the chapters so you can have more tiles.
Yeah if I have the troops and stamina, I'm constantly deleting level 1 tiles for higher ones. Should have asterisk to not delete low-level tiles unless you have an immediate plan to replace with a higher one.
to answer your question, some of those high level fellowships arent full because they aren't the language that people are wanting. In my server, the top fellowships were russian english spanish and french. not necessarily in that order so sometimes people will choose the 5th highest just to play with people speaking their language to be honest.
I would appreciate a setting that always translates every message within the view and then allows me to switch back to the original. But alas, they are probably just using some external translation service
Several reasons why folks stay in low-level alliances: language, playing with friends, EGO (want to be leader), etc. I don't see this any different than RoK. Even on the higher ranked alliances, particularly early on, you have folks that jump to the higher alliances because of the alliance tech and chest rewards.
1 MAJOR REASON why a guild would not be full is they have very high requirements that an applicant must meet for strength. Basically they focus on only letting in the players that are likely going to be very strong in the long run. This is very common for most games like this as well as most guilds in MMORPG games. Many of the most intelligent guild leaders will start secondary guilds filled with players that can't fit in the main guild. Alt farm teams are common too, the biggest advantage of using alts in this game would be to grab tiles in ahead of an enemy advance used to block and slow them down so more people can log on in the guild to help in a fight. 1 HUGE trick is to have alts join the main fighting guild and they spend their stamina "building the tile road" up near the enemy, then rotate kicking the alts out after you've built off those tiles. This saves an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of stamina and SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES the speed your guild can attack the enemy because you can take tiles quickly. You're welcome for my pro tips.😁😁😁
You want to consider returning your commanders (dwalin alone and unafraid in your example) back to the settlement for running tips in the tavern though. Those rewards can be huge.
Please do a video on the differences in stat "keywords"! For example what is the difference between "SPEED" and "MARCH SPEED"? Furthermore how it differs between commanders, troops, and both at the same time. Much appreciated ahead of time. 😁

One counterpoint about fellowships. If you have 2 active fellowships, they can constantly be at war. This allows one to focus on siege while the other attacks and clears tiles.
On last mistake, I'll just say that in season 1, I went to the strongest fellowship of my faction and mostly our community conquered the map, a few members from other felloships helped us but it was up to 10 people. For example there are 10 felloships on the server of the faction (there are more but this is example), and only 10 members help out of the 9 felloships while one conquers the rest? It´s sad for me, so there may be a reason to move to a stronger felloship, but only if the player wants to fight and occupy the map (sorry for mistakes in language). And your videos are great and help me too much, continue and help to others.
I uh dont put my dominance up because i use the tiles to reach more powerful places to conquer then after i conqured that, i delete the 1 tiles so i can reach for more resourceful tiles to get. All my points is put into march speed and power, sometimes a little dominance.
I realize I'm four months late but I just started playing this game last week. Lol There is one MASSIVE problem with holding onto all your Power 1 tiles and that is, around chapter 17 of the scroll thingy, it starts requiring you to have X amount of total "Power Production", which is earned via the tiles. Even at my current ring power of 45 and dumping ALL skill points it will let me currently and sitting at 156 tiles, I had to leave all my Power 1 tiles and chase more powerful tiles in order to reach these Power Production goals. And the goals get steeper and harder to reach each new chapter. It really shifts the focus of a building and resource management game into a grindy one, which so far, is my ONLY complaint about the game. Loving it so far and I don't even like this genre of games.
Warband for me, haha I try my hand as solo when I started to get a feel of it, Also like being in charge and in control. Even as solo I coordinate others in faction to capture and expand territories. Since you can build next to fellow faction member tiles I use my mobility to connect close to Keeps and gain control. Some things i could had done better at start like the 24hr buffs, but now being in the swing for couple days got used to mechanics and grow pretty fast. I never consider Balance in PVP, don't believe it maters as its the same with all games like this. Me i'm just stubborn and in for good time.

About the fellowships... Maybe someone doesn't want to be in lower rank fellowship, but he/she can't chose. I for example don't accept under minimum power level and I am leader of 2nd fellowship in ranking... So it doesn't only depends on players, it depends on fellowship needs...
Well idk about avoiding mocking battles especially if you put a few points on your ring for them. Right now I can get 72k experience for doing them and the timer is only at 55mins. You save a whole lot of time and energy on your commanders while gaining tons of exp. I'm barely on week 2 of playing and all 4 of my commaders are at lvl 30.
I've been stuck on ch 14 for days now because I can't even find an available 130/hr tile. My neighbors had my settlement boxed in right when I started, and it's making it impossible to expand.

Definitely delete tiles. You don't need level 1 garbage. Maximize your power! 40 resources more is a lot when you multiply that by 176. I think you'll also get more mobs to sweep close by if you have unclaimed tiles.
Fellowships apart of the same faction still work together. Generally speaking, further into the season you go the more required a secondary fellowship is needed to hold lower tier players. Also some people come in with their own group.
About mistake 8, you said it yourself. Fellowships have limited amount of slots, if they want to rise up they must be selective about whom they will accept, and in order to be accepted you must show you will carry your weight in whatever matters the fellowship is interested.

You didn't explain what Stamina is or where to see it and how to use it. But the video overall is very helpful I'm enjoying this game a lot I hope it's still popular in like 5 years when I finally figure out how to play every aspect of it.
the faction in lothlorien just keep attacking defending mobs and armies, and gaining significantly power production 🤔. In my server Gondor Faction and lothlorien have been doing that also 😂

Yes you should delete tiles. Why would you keep a lvl 1 tile when you can swap it for a 200. I agree you should have your tiles near max constantly. That being said, if you have 214/216 tiles delete your lvl 1 tiles
I’m new to this game myself, I was told from the start to delete 1HR tiles. I’ve know that dominance gives tiles but I think I’ll log into the game and go crazy on low level tiles now. Also I think for Mistake 8 is that people are joining their own language barrier. I speak only English so if you’re in a Russian or German I won’t join. Although I still see a lot of people joining regardless.
not switching your level 1 tiles for tiles at level 2 is just stupid 4 tiles level 1 gives you 800 each resource and 4 power/h 4 tiles level 2 (if they exist of each resource...) gives you 960 each resource and 40 power. what it's true... is that you should not switch ALL your tiles at the same time, that is a good tip, doing them 10 to 10 is better. Plus, you have no 4 tiles, you have 80+ so multiply...
On my server there is an inactive leader fellowship that I started in and I brought a bunch of people from that one to another one and made it the top fellow of our faction but there are still almost 50 people in the inactive fellowship...feels bad. also there is a faction pop limit on each faction on each server, so at a certain point people can't switch
A few things wrong with the game: 1.Unbalanced…Elves seem to on top on most every server. Totally unbalanced. 2. Forts. You need to build forts to move troops. But half the sphere of influence of a fort is wasted on overlap. Instead of linking your spheres of influence from each forts border you have to have them overlapping thus wasting half your movement range and causing you to build way more forts than needed. And since forts cost not only resources, but also gold to build it’s a big waste. 3. Movement. Movement is way too restrictive. It takes way too long to get to where you are going. And Yes certain units have different speeds depending on unit equipped but it is still way too long. 4. Picking where you start in a faction. When you begin….the game just dumps you wherever it feels like it. You have no choice where in your original territory to put your base. I got dumped way north and if I could have choose and found a spot I would have been more centrally or forward located in my factions territory. 5. Inactive players. There are now a ton of inactive players in my server. People who just tried the game and didn’t like it, quit the server to go to another, or realized how the power balance is so uneven and just left. The inactives stay. They don’t go away they are just there to take up space and resource tiles. You literally have to ether spend a ton of time and stamina to boot them or just leave them there. 6. Treaties, alliance, defense pacts. There are none!!! Factions have been making treaties, alliances and defense pacts with each other to dominate the game but there is no actual setting for that. A faction can be allied with others in order to allow them to gain territory freely but no setting exists to limit which faction can ally with the other. For example a faction can arrange a alliance with several others and be free to conquer but when that ally needs help there is no in-game setting, button etc to call for aid or expect aid to come from your so called ally.
I have deleted over 100 tiles and I'm still full, i have 135/136 and I'm deleting more as we speak, I'm deleting all my 30per hour ring power tiles right now, next my 40s are going
In our previous server, the top fellowship in the top faction was dominated by a bunch of whales so they stayed on top until our lower level fellowship in a less populated faction rose because of leadership. Choose a good organised sub top fellowship over a whale dominated one

Although they look similar, lorewise, this doesn't make sense, as all seven pilantir were unique colors. (Also, there were only seven)

Well not really I made any of it, but I upgraded low-tier army units and wasted some gold on it.
You can increase stamina and ability point in ring, in the right top corner
It's the only one I put points into aside from dominance and the gathering ones.
Where is that located in hat part of menu can you increase it ?

Maxing control gives you much faster recovery of ability points.

Your first section about not deleting tiles is not the smartest thing to do. If I can attack lvl 60 and 90 tiles why do I want to keep my lvl 10?

I have that same problem in other games but, not high enough in ranking to boot the inactive players :( it gets me frustrated and sad.

You should always be deleting your lowest tiles and you should always be near max..
Yeah but if youre deleting level 1 tiles for level 150 it’s different than deleting them for level 10

Im Lindon and on my server were the strongest faction,weve taken out Isengard,Rohan,and loth

A few things wrong with the game:
1.Unbalanced…Elves seem to on top on most every server. Totally unbalanced.
2. Forts. You need to build forts to move troops. But half the sphere of influence of a fort is wasted on overlap. Instead of linking your spheres of influence from each forts border you have to have them overlapping thus wasting half your movement range and causing you to build way more forts than needed. And since forts cost not only resources, but also gold to build it’s a big waste.
3. Movement. Movement is way too restrictive. It takes way too long to get to where you are going. And Yes certain units have different speeds depending on unit equipped but it is still way too long.
4. Picking where you start in a faction. When you begin….the game just dumps you wherever it feels like it. You have no choice where in your original territory to put your base. I got dumped way north and if I could have choose and found a spot I would have been more centrally or forward located in my factions territory.
5. Inactive players. There are now a ton of inactive players in my server. People who just tried the game and didn’t like it, quit the server to go to another, or realized how the power balance is so uneven and just left. The inactives stay. They don’t go away they are just there to take up space and resource tiles. You literally have to ether spend a ton of time and stamina to boot them or just leave them there.
6. Treaties, alliance, defense pacts. There are none!!! Factions have been making treaties, alliances and defense pacts with each other to dominate the game but there is no actual setting for that. A faction can be allied with others in order to allow them to gain territory freely but no setting exists to limit which faction can ally with the other. For example a faction can arrange a alliance with several others and be free to conquer but when that ally needs help there is no in-game setting, button etc to call for aid or expect aid to come from your so called ally.
I changed fellowship once. Mine was 10 pple doing nothing

I have deleted over 100 tiles and I'm still full, i have 135/136 and I'm deleting more as we speak, I'm deleting all my 30per hour ring power tiles right now, next my 40s are going

so about the mistake number 6; why not you give any point to HEAL talent for Dwalin? isnt it so OP? he literally heals half of the dmg in a fight?

Don't delete tiles is stupid, delete ur lowest and get higher tile u will evolve quicker
How do you change your fellowship?
First you leave the one you’re in. Then two hours later you can apply to another one. I find the top ones by looking in the rankings.
In our previous server, the top fellowship in the top faction was dominated by a bunch of whales so they stayed on top until our lower level fellowship in a less populated faction rose because of leadership.
Choose a good organised sub top fellowship over a whale dominated one
