This Video Is For Educational Purposes. It is meant to show the psychology behind how police interact with suspects to try and get their confession.
In this jcs inspired true crime documentary, we take a look at the interrogation of a woman who claimed that a man who just won the lottery, gave her all of his money and left town.

Thank you so much for 500K subscribers. I apologize if the narration sounds a little off, I was at the end of a pretty bad cold when I made this video.
i hope u feel better !! tysm for making the video even when u felt sick !
You deserve it!
Thank you for the channel. Greetings from The Netherlands.
Hey, some advice: your commentary audio is always a lot lower than the interrogation footage.
Because of this many of us have to manually adjust the audio each time you speak and when the footage starts again
Sir thankyou for your kindness and hard work these videos are excelent ! Prayers for your good health !
Am I the only one who thought it was funny how the detectives low-key broke character to correct her that she would get a pillow in prison
It reminded me of something out of a sitcom or comedy show 🤣

They were dumb to say she's getting life . They should of let her believe she'd get 25 years and be able to get out
The way she jovially responded was perfect, delivery wise. They all played their parts perfectly.
Publicly disclosing the identity of someone who became suddenly rich is painting a target on their back.
Even just for scammers. Now everyone knows that there’s someone easy to take advantage of who has no idea how to manage that much money.
She won't have access to any of that money when she's on death row.
The problem with not disclosing the winner is then there's no way of knowing if the lottery was actually paid. They could just collect everyone's money who bought tickets and say "oh yeah we paid the winner..." and just keep the money.
If you win the lottery don't fill out the back of the ticket, hire a lawyer, setup a trust and use the trust info to fill out the ticket. Then have the lawyer claim the winnings on behalf of the trust.
Yep, there's a reason why the super-wealthy never wear flashy clothes, jewellery or or shout about how much money they've got. They wanna fly under the radar.
“They even have hot water” 😅😅😅😅 give these guys their own show
Yep. The situation is so frustrating tho. She thinks if she acts like she believes her own lies, someone else will🙄😒😒😒. They have a ton of patience. God bless 'em.
🤣😂🤣
I was in stiches when she was talking about DNA exonerating people and the said "Yeah, but most of those people didn't have a body buried in their backyard," and then said they wouldn't put her husband in a jail cell next to her. This is the funniest interrogation I've ever watched.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like that it basically becomes improv comedy at some point lmao just riffing off of each other
The friendly 2 minute conversation about pillows in jail is straight out of Reno 911 lol
100% ! ! ! Completely veered off to pillows AND blankets ... and shower shoes
A perfect pitch 🤣
Haha it really is

@@kittumiku now, I’ve read some comments on other channels about this. The cops said they make do with what they have for investigation rooms. Budget issue I guess.

Lol😅
LOL nooo, it's ok! You get a pillow!! Oh! Well that's really great, ok, not so bad ❤😂

And she was excited 😂😂
“Maybe you can stir the beans.” 😂😂😂 these detectives are amazing
Ngl, the way he said that kinda had me sold on the idea of stirring beans all day.
These two detectives should take their show on the road. Their sarcasm was right on target. They made the jail sound all types of bougie with those pillows.
Killed me the way that one kept going “Deedee……..come on Deedee……” so frustrated with her hahaha
The "convince the suspect that prison has really nice pillows" technique was utilized expertly in this interrogation.

Which step of the Reir technique is that?

Yes. 😂 we need more detectives like these.
the detective said can you cook for 3000 that can be valuable over there 😂. selling her on prison i’m so done lmaooo
Lol 😅😅😅😅
🤣😂
If you do the research behind this case, you will see how evil this woman really is. The guy that she killed was an amazing person, but had a terribly difficult life. He was born into extreme poverty, and had severe learning disabilities that caused him not to be able to even graduate high school. He worked harder than 99% of people just trying to support himself. He was the most worthy person in the world to win the lottery, but the way people came out of the woodwork to take advantage of him was unbelievably criminal!
Absolutely. Such a good man. He deserved the money, but sadly was too nice a guy and too naive to know how to manage it. He gave away most of it, then let this scum bag take over.
The state should also be held accountable. I heard about that murder. Darn, she's basking in her privilege.

I thought the same thing about her. It's all about her!! 🤬
It always amazes me when a narcissist tries to convince the detectives instead of getting a lawyer
A narcissist is convinced that they are right and everyone else is wrong... everyone else is to blame. They will never ask for a lawyer.
I agree with you though, maybe not amazing to me, but it's crazy that they think they are smarter than science and facts.
With whom they have the same conversation. She’ll go through 2 or 3 defense attorneys before she gives up.
Get a lawyer for what? She killed someone who gives a fuck what a murderer goes through 🙄🙄🙄🙄🚮
Textbook behavior! 😂
Yup! They are often the ones who try to represent themselves in court as well. This woman is pure trash. She is 100% a sociopathic narcissist.
The fact that they were gunning for a confession and that they let her go shows that they did not have enough to arrest her and this genius ASKS to be interviewed again. 🤦♂️
They knew she wasn’t going to leave her mansion. It was all about money.
Smh
The case is a lot more complex than what was presented here. They had more than enough evidence to arrest her. Abraham was murdered at her house, she had the hole dug for his body, she had the murder weapon, and she solicited others to get involved. Unfortunately for her, one was an undercover agent. One of the people she solicited went to the police.
There have been many tv shows based on this case. There are a few that try to paint her in a more positive light and minimize the damage she did, but others reveal how dark and sinister she is. The shows that tried to paint her in a more positive light tried to make it seem like she was trying to help him and keep his finances safe from those who were trying to take advantage of him, and that her intentions were pure, but "something went wrong".
She told his elderly mother that he was tired of people taking his money so he left the country for a while to get away from everyone. She started having men talk to his mom to trick her into believing that he was okay, but the reality was, the entire time, she knew that he was buried in her yard and that his mom would never hear from him again. This case was the talk of Polk County for YEARS! "Everyone" speaks highly of him.
I'm from the same county, but about 30 minutes from where the crime took place. It was horrible! She's definitely a an evil monster!
"They give you a pillow." Love it.
"I don't even drink and drive." Give this woman the Medal of Honor!

"I don't even drink and drive and kill. I just shoot".
LMAO I love when she tries to cry to gain sympathy and the detective is like “have you been drinking anything today?”
😂
Right
If I was her I would have lol. Last time ever
I think he used her crying as an excuse for him to ask her if she had been drinking or under the influence of drugs so that later she couldn't claim that she was high or on medication when she gave the interview and she fell for it too,she was ADAMANT about not drinking or doing drugs 🤣

I use the same threat on my toddler to get her to eat her veggies.
@Aas lmaooo na just to call d cops
Well, her long history of crimes and her stories showed the detectives that she wasn't the brightest... But to her defense I think there was someone really on the line talking but as you say it was still a dummy call. Other detectives and/or supervisors are usually in another room watching live and usually send the interrogators texts or calls to feed them info and sometimes the interrogators will place calls with someone who is aware and listened to everything. She is as evil as she is a dummy...

fr! ain't nobody needa know how much money someone has
Yup! Your financial status should never be publicly disclosed!
It's not right. The lottery organisers wanna prove their winners exist, but it puts them in danger.
It's not a law that you have to disclose it. They give you the option.
@@zoesmybaby I could be wrong but I think it varies by state. I believe in some you have the option to remain anonymous, but not all
I always thought that, forcing a lottery winner to disclose their information, was the worst, most dangerous idea, that any moron ever came up with.
In India, most lottery winners wear paper bags over their faces when they go to claim their winnings. THAT seems like the trend that should catch on.
Always Florida.

And she said she had no motive 💁🏼♀️
@joseph0998
Oh no… Why do I feel like she’s being honest when she says that she didn’t do it? I assumed that she was guilty at first but listening through it a second time, ignoring the biased language of the narrator and doing a mental experiment of pretending that everything she was saying was as a genuinely innocent woman, has made me doubt her guilt. Am I being too gullible?
What if it’s one of those _crazy situation_ crimes that she was unfortunate enough to get caught in the middle of so there’s no way to retell the events that transpired without her coming off as fibbing and as being a manipulative? I recommend listening to it but from the mindset of considering that she’s innocent. The narrator isn’t being objective and is letting his bias be made apparent in his reporting.

They underestimate other people's intelligence. The cops are so patient. I'm sorry for the people in her family who had to deal with her all their lives.
39:12 was GENIUS. The cop realized she literally has the brain of a child, and he played a childish game. A fake phone call. She fell RIGHT into it. Amazing. That’s literally something you can do to an 8 year old and they’d believe it.
Bro, he "hung up" and his partner said "you think we're freaking playing games with you deedee!?" 💀😆
And then hit her immediately with "DO YOU THINK WERE PLAYING GAMES" absolutely incredible
Woah leave the kids out of this. This is a cold blodded psychopath murderer
They were ON HER ASS AND NOT LETTING UP😂😂
It would be very different if she had a lawyer with her
As the 51 year old son of a malignant narcissist, the most entertaining part of this interrogation is that the detectives really thought that they'd get her to confess by invoking the future and well-being of her child.
Western Women are THE LAST people to think in terms of the best interests of posterity OR the nations that protect them.
Touche 👍
I hope you are doing well in life. You can be whoever you choose to be in the next second it is up to you brother!
@@pop2522 Amen to that! And I hope you're doing well, also. Thanks for the kind note, TH-cam friend. I am, indeed, doing well these days. Freedom began when I came to understand what you just shared - that we are purposed to be the best "ME" that we can be, and that striving to be good enough for another person... especially one who sees others only as a mirror of them self... is a recipe for a life unfulfilled.

RIP Abraham it’s so sad that this woman that you trusted took your life so soon. Rest in peace 🪦 young man. You did everything you can for these earth people who didn’t deserve this life.
you can tell she’s been manipulating people her entire life
Just good looking enough to be able to pull it off
@@kevinr.3542 To each their own, but I definitely don’t see what you see.
@@ZZMonkeysUncleZZ I was thinking what he meant by "good looking enough", @kevinr brah, you need to revise your standards of good looking, big time.
Gonna go out on a very very short limb and say she is a registered Republican 😂😂
@@ZZMonkeysUncleZZ its like that shoe color thing. you me and see brown, he sees blue.
This is one of the saddest cases I've heard of. He was taken advantage of by so many people.
Yes the poor man. May he rest in peace in God's loving embrace
Hope no one publicizes lottery winners anymore anywhere. It's supposed to be an incredibly fortuitous gift that could happen to anyone, not a life threatening burden
He's an idiot. 30 million dollars and you still don't have the balls to tell everyone fucking with your day to eat shit? Sad.
Yeah. This reminds me of that movie A Simple Plan, where they find a bag of millions in a crashed plane, and it ends up destroying their whole lives.
@Donnell Okafor
Yeah they do, but you can tell them you want to remain anonymous and by law they cannot release a single identifying factor about you.
I think they still release the city & store at which the ticket was won, but that’s it. I first learned this when a former coworker of mine won $250k of the Powerball back in like 2008-2009.
I am from Germany and my comment is only to say thanks for the subtitles while they are speaking so I can follow what's going on.
And now I wish you have Pillows every night😎😅
I love the entire end interaction with the 3 of them.
I get they’re nice to get a confession, but I must say I love how these detectives treated her like the dirt she is
Ya it’s probably because they had almost enough evidence if not enough evidence to convict her
@@lilhotpotato_1466I actually don’t understand how she was able to go home after that initial interrogation, it seemed like at that point they had enough evidence to at least charge her with the crime
@@johnselwitz5362 They probably tapped the crap out of her and put an agent on her ass to see if she gonna panic and do something that might get them more evidence
@@johnselwitz5362 Just because she was sent home did not mean she was off the hook, chances are she was kept under surveillance as a person of interest while the police was building their case. She was probably informed that she was prohibited from leaving the area as such.
I’ve recently listened to the ‘one minute remaining’ podcast which allows her to tell her side of the story, and not only that, she provides audio she recorded that backs up her story which was not used in court. Worth a listen.
"Why would I kill him for the money?" I've seen interviews where people murdered their own children for $15,000 and she thinks it's impossible to believe that she would kill somebody for $13,000,000? You'd think with all the practice she gets with lying she'd at least be halfway decent at it.
30 million! Not 13
The poor guy all that money all that hell
He should have left town straight away. And got help
@@rita6459 it wasnt 30 lol thats what he won but he doesnt even get half of that because of taxes.. So it wasnt 30 million
Lol she thinks because she don’t litter or drink and drive she is not capable of this shit😂😂
Facts
The one detective that keeps saying "umm kayy" is killing me!! All I hear is "drugs are bad umm kayyy" (southpark voice). Lol
“ i care about me” little singing that was so funny
I love how they are all yelling but when she mentions not getting a pillow, they all mellow out and discuss that they do in fact give you a pillow.
More like they LOAN you a pillow.
omg the last five minutes of her complaining about prison and them explaining what a fun life she’s gonna have in the slammer was some of the funniest material i’ve ever seen in one of these interrogation videos. and her just going “oh…😃 okay” when they say she can have a pillow ☠️☠️ “you know the roach motel? you’re the roach” was the cherry on top
lol funny the detectives are hilarious 😂 and funny pillow bologna sandwich roach hotel she is the roach i just pee myself laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, that was my favorite part, the banter between the two about all that, and how it could've been anyone down the street they passed, etc.
THISSSSSSS
I am over here dying laughing. That part was hilarious. They’re at they are interacting with her is pure comedy 😂😂😂
They could do comedy when they retire.
Hi, I just saw your watermark on a video on A&E wow! It is on Episode 14 Season 1 of Interrogation Cam.
That's pretty cool I hope red tree sees this
These detectives are brilliant and funny. They broke her down perfectly. Great work guys.
Her guilt revealed itself more when she said “James didn’t know what that hole was for” in other words James didn’t know she was preparing to hide a body she killed🤦🏽♂️
This was the most PAINFUL 50 MINUTES I’ve sat through!!! This woman is truly a piece of work. I’m surprised even her husband had to deal with that..
Didn’t even realize it was a 50 min video lmao. Really good video
Why are you even surprised? It's. A. Vvoman.☕️🤡🤣🤣

I dated a guy like this - they are slicker than snot on a doorknob. They come up with detailed lies and backstories like breathing, even when you catch them in a lie they’ve got a perfect story for why.
maybe she didnt kill that guy, she just handed him the weapon and talked to him for 60 minutes
One Heartless Person took someone life Simply Over Money…. May the Gentleman Rest in Peace 😢😢😢😢
23:00 the type of shyt my toddler does when she can’t get her way 😂 🐊 tears 😂.. notice soon as he start talking to her she stopped crying all of a sudden 🤦🏽♂️
This woman has a constant "poor little me I'm just a girl!" fake cry voice. It's so satisfying to see it, and then see she can't manipulate these guys.
She said she wrote her phone number on her feet because the police would take away everything like did she not know they take phones too?
@@leagueaddict8357 She has been arrested before, no doubt. There are phones at the jail
Killing someone to steal their money is one of the most vile things anyone can do.
Unfortunately it’s the harsh reality of winning the lottery where you can’t trust nobody just keep it invest it and do what ever you can to hid away from people lol
It is but I think it's actually a common motive. Shows u how opportunistic many people are . Its gross. Like make your own money. Why do people want to other people money? It's weird
And yet, most of the time it’s about $.
Right! In the world money means everything but a human life is always more important.
