I was interested in seeing this film initially, as all I had seen were the Swedish trailers. Once I saw the US ones (which had a totally different vibe and showed more aspects of the film), I knew instantly the "zoo horror" that interested me that the Swedish trailers made me think The Watchers was, was inaccurate. Your video has confirmed my suspicions. I'm glad I didn't waste my time/money on this film. I have to admit, I'm interested in "Trap", but I have already guessed that the lead character is not the actual serial murderer, he's just working with whoever is. I'm calling it now that the murderer is Shyamalan's daughter, who plays the pop star in the film.
Oooh , interesting theory for the twist in trap I like that a lot. I was thinking maybe his daughter is in on it. Regardless of any guesses true or not very keen for Trap.
@@SpaceKrakenMedia That's also a very interesting theory! We'll see soon enough. It's unfortunate how often I'm correct with theories when I'm not a person who °tries° to figure out twists. I hope that yours is right for my own enjoyment!
Shyamalan is the living, breathing, personified box of chocolates from Forest Gump. I watch all of his movies now - it´s like his movies all are Kinder-surprise eggs and they are always entertaining.
😱😱 what? That’s wild! That was your first assumption! Good call! I reckon I would have gone through 20 to 30 different creatures and monsters before guessing fairies haha
It’s not gorey or very violent but some of the concepts and ideas and general tone is probably not appropriate for very young kids. As someoen without kids I’ll confidently say under 10s a no. Kinda depends on the children but tbh. But in terms of visceral on screen violence and such. None . One PG13 kill.
The sole searching I have done as I reconcile with the fact I say a word the same way twice and yet it comes out wrong one of those times… M night style twist.. I think it’s just my accent. Or my inherent misunderstanding of how to say his name. Or both lol
IMO M. Night hasn’t made a good/great film since Signs. I loved Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs. And having seen The Village 3 or 4 times, it’s very painfully melodramatic to sit through…BEFORE the Big Twists! Split is the closest he got to a good movie, but I have some issues with the takeaway from that one. The Visit was original and promising at first, but by the end it was like an adult diaper in the face.
😂😂 yeh that’s very fair. I really like most of his new films, particularly Old. But I can understand why people still aren’t full back with him like his peak with Signs. The Village was always my least favourite as a kid and now revisiting it I really enjoy what it says and how he approaches the themes and concepts. But ye.. it’s melodramatic to say the least! Haha
@@SpaceKrakenMedia I just don’t like the message that childhood abuse (particularly sexual) makes you stronger. McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy both gave great performances, and while it was imperfect, it was effectively unsettling.
@@SpaceKrakenMedia Old was a disgusting movie. Specifically the two 6-year olds in adult bodies having a baby together. Still had plenty of scenes to laugh AT, not WITH. The A-list actors were once again wasted on a Shyamalan script, and I predicted the Big Twist pretty accurately at the start.
@TwilightZoneMusic03 Sorry, but it's like nails on a chalkboard for me. Different strokes, I guess, but I don't have to follow anything else from this page. Later.

Makes me think of the True Blood Snookie reveal 🤣🤣🤣🤣

.That’s all I thought about when they said fairies hahah! Shame they are not nearly as good as when true blood did it.
Thank you for the early spoiler review
Your presentation and way of talking during the video is actually really entertaining.

Love this. Perfectly said
Agree 100%
Does anyone know the name of the song played when Danny and Chiara dance together?
My first assumption was that they were faeries. Sucks that it wasn't done well.

My mum and my younger siblings want to watch it is there anything bad in it or like how old do u think you should be to watch it?

Saying his name wrong throughout the review but his daughter's name right was unintentionally hilarious 🤓

@@SpaceKrakenMedia It's top quality entertainment and simply adds nuance to an already brilliantly presented review! I'm not complaining one bit 😁🤓🇬🇧
@@NigelShepherd-z7k thnx mate !
It’s based on a book so if all you “From” stan babies are cranky you should talk to the author first ✌🏼
I thought the movie was ok... i was awake lol but then there was nothing at the end
Hahah
Love that phrasing for a mid tier review. I was awake 😂

Yeee split is a weird one. I think the performance from McAvoy saves it for me

Wait is this based off the Watchers by Dean Koontz?
Nuh it’s based off a book by A.M Shine
Sounds like they stole ideas from the series FROM
They absolutely stole this concept from the series FROM
Great show!
But it’s based off a book so maybe from took some ideas from the book?
Faries? Omg they stole from the show FROM 😅😅😅😅 i can't believe they did that
Why are folks talking about From?!?
@@mm-in7tn because they literally stole the concept of this movie from the series FROM but they added their twist
@@livelong6685 Got it. I'll stick with From
Turning off after about 2 minutes. Don't know how many times you can butcher the director's name, but I can't do it for 20 minutes.
Dawg it’s not that deep you’ll live lmfao
