I use to work at Zippys and for break I would make myself grilled cheese using the garlic bread and a bowl of chili with lots of cheese and onions with a scoop of Mac salad. Oh soooo ONO!
I'm glad you added the apple napple, I love that thing. I didn't know it only started in 1999, I thought that was there a lot longer than that. In high school, I would always get the fried chicken with fries, the fries are really good. Other things that are good are the chili frank plate, ox tail soup, and the banana split. I don't know if they still do this, but they use to take out all those little strands in the banana. And the pineapple topping was so good. I watched a TH-cam video of a guy who said the chili was like Hormel or just regular chili.

Finally Zippy’s is open here in Las Vegas!! my favorite has to be the spaghetti with garlic bread and Korean chicken!! 😋
