Bro. What adderal addicted hostage did they get to film this? She looks like she was in the trap house and fresh off narcan and very obviously reading instead of looking at the camera.
My first thought upon seeing the presenter was “Did she ran out of sick days?” Is there more to how she presented herself in this video? Are we overlooking something?

Everyone’s talking about the reporter but nobody is giving the bread enough praise. If you’ve tried it you know its AMAZING. but it’s packed with sugar and calories
MOST ALL American food has sugar in it. Welcome to America! When you go down a grocery isle, say the middle. You will notice every product has sugar and calories. to think they don't, you are just dumb. No offense though. Go watch the movie Fed Up. It's free on youtube here. Just go look it up in the search & watch it. You will be shocked
I work for Kings Hawaiian and I can honestly tell you how great it is to work for the company. The Taira family are great and humble people who really care about their employees. Most of us have been here for years. You feel as though you're working with family. When you treat your employees right. The work progresses, and your company grows, and this is exactly what is happening here.❤✌️
I read on the company website the owner used to eat portuguese sweet bread from the neighbors and he worked hard to emulate the same taste, but added more ingredients so that it stayed fresher and softer longer. It really does remind me of the Portuguese sweet bread I ate growing up, he did a great job
You made the connection. Hawaii has a large Portuguese immigrant community from the old days and lots of their food has been adopted to become Hawaii local food. malasadas, egg tarts, sweet bread, linguica and other foods are all regularly eaten in Hawaii. I myself ate a couple dozen malasadas this month and a few linguica sausages.
In fact we used to have a brand of sweet bread loaf but Tiara’s version is softer (the wonders of chemistry) and has loads more sugar than the other brands. It is great. My family knew the Tiara’s when they moved to Ca saying, Hawaii was too anti business for them to grow the way they wanted to. We were sad to see them leave. They also owned the best diner ever.
I remember going to the King St location and selling fundraiser tickets that you could redeem for either their sweetbread or orange chiffon cake. When I give directions and give landmarks, I still refer to it as the old King’s Bakery location
She looks totally stoned. She is falling asleep while reading a teleprompter. What the heck happened to Forbes? There is no way something like this would get published. I am going to share this video with everyone I know. It's so weird!
I hope she wasn’t forced to make this video, this is insane. Sometimes she’s too weak to talk and open her eyes, sometimes she moves a lot and makes a snarky smile. What is going on?!
Origins of this style bread is Portugal… Portuguese sweet bread were made in the large format boule and torn to be shared at dinners with family and friends.
This was such a great business to cover but your host may really not have been happy to do this... and i'm sure she's good at what she does to be working at Forbes and maybe this is an exception to her story reporting...We DO enjoy your narration videos too just in case
I grew up in Torrance and you can smell fresh bread on the freeway. They have restaurants and bakeries too. Their cakes are amazing! I have a Hawaiian roll recipe on my channel inspired by King Hawaiian’s
As soon as I saw the reporter I went straight to the comments and I was not disappointed. Sucks that she taking more spotlight than the delicious King’s Hawaiian Rolls
They used to give these rolls out at Tom Thumb supermarket for free if you buy a whole fried chicken. At first I thought these rolls couldn't taste good because the packaging looked cheap and the supermarket was giving it out for free. But to my surprise it is actually good.
No energy, no enthusiasm, drooping, as if she was being forced to do this story and just reading through it to get it over with. Sucks if she reads the comments but hey taken it as a way to better yourself..
My family LOVES King's Hawaiian rolls! Like it says in the video, we primarily buy them for special occasions, like parties and holidays. I think they are best as a treat, since they are not very healthy in regular usage.
Im addicted to the sliced Hawaiian bread. They only carry a loaf or 2 at Walmart so i gotta grab em both when i can. They have tons of the other types like the rolls. I make the best grilled cheese sandwiches with them. Sometimes frenchtoast. Mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm!😊

Growing up in Hawaii, I grew up eating their delicious bread. And I was fortunate enough back in 2015 to have toured their Flowery Branch Factory in Georgia and meet the Tairas. It was a very amazing and informational tour, and the smell of their bread baking while walking on the tour was heavenly. The Taira family is very generous and filled with the Aloha spirit and I wish them much success expanding their business on a global scale. But I do wish Forbes would've used a more enthusiastic host for this video, it was just painful watching and listening to her.
I hope they buy the land that some of their people died during the fire and sell it cheap back to their native people. We all know that fire wasn't an accident
I thought it was just me. I can’t stand to hear this monotone delivery. I wanted to hear about these rolls as I eat them. She literally just looked like she rolled out of bed from a hangover . I’m surprised this is from Forbes
It feels disrespectful to have someone who is either disinterested or extremely unwell, tell this story. Watching her and listening to her is jarring.
King's Hawaiian must have forgotten to pay for the airplane ticket or something. How disrespectful of Forbes.
Same thought watching this
Came here for this
she is wasted jaja

I think she's high!
Her face says it all: 'I traded my sleep to bring you this $2 billion story 😴
It makes so much sense. I always ate this bread because it reminds me of the bread I ate at home. 😍
Good for her, "I'll sleep when I'm dead" mentality is rare these daze.

there's 2 story here.. the bread story and her story

Omg fam. I couldnt wait to get to the end of this piece because of the voice.
Get well soon, Chloe Sorvino.
Why would Forbes do this to King’s Hawaiian by letting this person do the story? 😢
This isn't just some random narrator. Shes a SENIOR writer for Forbes. They should have given her a break or something instead of rushing this out.
Best rolls for sure
Yeah one of yes

Except, her scratchy voice and low energy delivery make it difficult to understand
Hard to watch her in pain.
You can tell she is reading a script. Nothing natural there.
Its “natural” what misrable lifestyle do have that this is natural
The Kings Hawaiian family reading the comments about the reporter 😅😅😅😂😂😂❤
At this point, Forbes should have just used AI-generated voiceover instead of this reporter.
Origins of this style bread is Portugal… Portuguese sweet bread were made in the large format boule and torn to be shared at dinners with family and friends.
Yup. Hawaii adopted lots of Portuguese things from the large immigrant population. Ukuleles and Malasadas are some examples.
Kings Hawaiian with just some ham or salami with cheese is a go to snack for me.
