    Thanks for this video! I have been forever looking for a way to do subscriptions with Calendly and I can't for the love of life understand why they don't have it either!
    Tidycal sounds perfect for my one oerson biz.

      You're very welcome - I hesitated for way too long before making the switch because it took me ages to find the little pitfalls.

    Hi! Thanks for the video. I was wondering if Tidycal allows you to show/hide appointment times to certain people. I have regular clients that always book the same time slot but I don't want them to see the other "available times" because those slots aren't available because the other clients haven't booked their regular spot yet. Thanks for the help!

      Interesting use case! So all calendar tools go by what is in your calendar AND what is defined for each appointment type. So if you have one set of standard hours then the only time an appointment is NOT available is if it is blocked in your calendar - but that would also affect the client trying to book an appointment in "their" appointment time.
      I would say that you most likely would need to set up separate booking links for your regular clients and then you can customise when each client can book. Eg. Michael usually has is call Wed at 10am so therefore Michael's booking link only allows booking Wednesday at 10am (and potentially other buffer times that are open for everyong) and John who always talks to you Thu at 10 has a separate link that only allows hime to book Thu at 10 (and potentially some other times open to everyone)
      I don't see a way to make a blanket stipulation.
      OR you make clients book their calls x weeks out via a multi-appointment booking. So they need to book 6 calls with you at a time, each one week apart.

      @@JessicaDornieden Thanks for the reply. Yeah, my use case is unique. I teach tennis and operate from a private court which I have to book in advance. So I need to know who is coming so that I can schedule the court. So I need the client/student to first book with me (usually confirming their usual time slot) and then I can pay for the court after the booking confirmation. I don't want them to see the other slots because they're not available and don't want them to have the flexibility to change times as it effects other bookings. I did what you said on Tidycal. I just made an individual booking type for each student and sent them a hidden link. Works okay. We'll see. Tennis is a hard business because we're tied to both a time clock and a court as well as so many variables (weather, sick, injury, traveling, school events, etc). Pretty tough on the scheduling and confirming. I appreciate your help and wish you success in your businesses.

      Yeah I get that, there are potentially other softwares that are more targeted towards that specific issue, but they also often assume that it's group bookings and not just individuals and many of them have a solid price tag, and since you're not limited on how many appointment types you can have with TidyCal and you'll never by yourself have hundreds of clients you can run with this for a while. If you were to scale up and have multiple trainers and group classes, then I'd definitely do a software switch if it gets messy. You'll know when the time has come for that anyways, cause you'll end up having a lot of admin overhead. Fingers crossed the bookings roll in

    Is it good? We moved in to Meeedly. Love to see a paid feature of Meeedly in a video before we purchase.

    Hi, let's say a one man show doing a service. Costumer booked a service that will be 4 hours long let's say the time is 10AM - 2PM will TidyCal be able to block this time slot then the next open slot will be available 2:30PM or 3:00PM? Thank you!

    • @JessicaDornieden
      @JessicaDornieden  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Randall, yes so that's one way I used it for ages - to organise my VIP days. I set up the availability for each VIP Day (I was only doing tech days once or twice a week max) and then I create the details of the appointment and duration etc. So if my appointment is 4 hours long and I only have 1 4-hour slot on a day, then only ONE can be booked. If I have 2 4 hour slots, then 2 can be booked etc. And you can customise if you're wanting to start on the full hour, or on the 30 min mark etc.

      @@JessicaDornieden Hi I do have follow up question. Let' say I have 3 multiple booking. In case a person selected a number 1 booking I want the booking 2 and 3 will be disabled since 1 has been selected. Is there an option for this?

      @@RandallAlbano Not sure I'm quite getting what you're trying to do :/ Tell me more about the appointment types and how they're set up (availability) and then what the outcome is supposed to be. Or email me screenshots/loom if it's easier! team@jessicadornieden.com sometimes it's hard to communicate in words what you're trying to build!
