The ENFP/ESTJ way of choosing people kind of reminds me of the way American hospitals (and medical schools) choose applicants. At first you see that there are exams to take and your grades will determine the specialty you get, that's cool, even though it's not a perfect way to grade doctors and know which one is better with a simple grading system, that's fine at least it's a fair competition. Also you should get letters of recommendation from physicians, yeah that's okay, although they could lie or give a subjective opinion, we can accept that. And then you find out that there are other criteria that make absolutely no sense. Like having letters of recommendation from an "American" physician, why?? What's the difference between an American physician and a non-American physician? Why does it matter? And having to pay thousands of dollars to do an elective (internship) in an American hospital for a few weeks, or that if you know someone from the hospital you're applying to it would help you get admitted. Or you go volunteer somewhere as if doing that means anything, if you're volunteering for your career then it doesn't necessarily mean you're a good person and you like helping puppies, you're just doing it for your resume, because it became a requirement rather than something that shows them who you really are. So you could be a very bad doctor but you build a shiny resume and they start liking you? Like why?? I've always thought it's a crappy system, where so many eligible doctors will be left out just because they don't have enough money to do all the meaningless activities that hospital programs define as "competency". Why don' people just be honest about who they are and do what they love to do, and hospitals redefine "a good applicant" and look at separate cases instead of making a mold that everyone has to fit in? It's absurd and useless.
My ENTJ brother just did this to me (I’m INTP). As sad as I am, I’ve let him go and walk the rough path (I guess I pulled the shaman leaving the village thing), so that he will suffer and grow up. But once he becomes humble and returns, I will help him. So... Time to level myself up for a better cause and my future. Add: also, ENTJs, seriously listen to those who love you (especially if they are NTPs). If they tell you you’re not stupid, YOU’RE NOT STUPID. I hate having this debate with you folks. And if you feel stupid, listen to NTPs when they tell you how to study and apply it (Te-Se). But you can make yourselves stupid by believing you are, thereby disabling yourself from taking action to prove your “smartness,” proving your insecurity right. There’s actual psychology behind this. Sorry for the soapbox. Have a wonderful day and check your Te-Fi so you don’t take those who love you for granted. Thanks.
Holy shit my mind is blown, lately I've been figuring I am not an INTP at all. I went through the affiliative schooling system and ended up an unhappy ML developer. Thank you for your wisdom!
I am an ENTJ. I am working on my MBA and MSBA simultaneously with two kids one and three years of age. For years, my director has absolutely pissed me off, because her decisions make absolutely zero sense unless her goal is to be as ineffective and inefficient as possible. Our new supervisor is experiencing the same frustrations. He and I have ideas that keep getting shot down. I said to him... "I'm doing it...Let her argue with the results..." others were listening, loved it, and thats been the mantra of the silent rebellion.
"Don't ask for permission, as for forgiveness" is quote of my work experience. I always take risk if I think it is justified and I am always ready to hold any critic and take full responsibility. Not that I ever had to do it, because my judgement is very good in general.
41:27 What you said about the shallowness of the art of some ENTJs is so true. I have witnessed this myself, where there is an attempt at depth but the majority of the appeal of the art ends up coming from aesthetics/showiness due to Se. And then they might “frame” the art as deep (maybe through the title or some other component), so that the audience will perceive it as such. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I think it’s an accurate observation. I think I’m also somewhat guilty of this as an INTJ, like I’m often focusing on the aesthetics of a creation more than any sort of metaphysical component. But I guess the desire to incorporate a metaphysical layer is there because it can sometimes heighten the experience.
Very interesting! I get INTJ in many different online tests - except UDJA. There I get ENTJ. 4 years ago some MBTI professional typed me as INFJ. But I really relate more to ENTJ than to INTJ or INFJ.
Hmm. I am a ESTJ. I am generally able to identify who is best suited for a specific task and reward people who perform their task the most effectively. Not sure if that is because of maturity or experience. I remember being young and finding ways of doing everything more efficiently, I reward that!
entj here & never taken out loans myself although had student loans forced on me. but never made this connection before about the national debt, you are so right. that's all it is, just laziness & mismanagement. & as you said, there are only so many variables ~ time, money, your own comfort & whether you want to do it right or not. to do things right you cannot constantly be worrying about what people think of you. bc the reasons behind your agenda won't be immediately understood & if you stop to explain everything, it's costing time, which then necessitates more money & more suffering. we have congressmen on twitter looking for feedback every 5 seconds, social media magnifies the intensity of being hated so everyone is less willing than ever to make unpopular correct decisions. & that has a direct effect on the overall equation, so naturally billions & billions have to be taken out to compensate for the incompetency.
Napoleon always wanted it, but was barred by an inefficient system (monarchy) which he promptly reformed. He was asked to lead by the Republican government, not the old order. Napoleon loved meritocracy (amazing) and joined the military as it was one of the few occupations that facilitated his rise. You are spot on about entjs taking the initiative to gain prominence, as Napoleon did in Italy. -entj historian
Your interpretation is welcome, but I've mostly heard Steve Jobs typed as an ENTJ. He was a visionary who had a tendency to bulldoze people and treat them like numbers, which you mentioned as being the ultimate downfall of all ENTJs. Sculley was more of an ESTJ: traditional, focused on tried-and-true procedure. When Jobs came back, so too did the visionary aspect of Apple.
Entjs want as much attention as possible from all sources while intjs want all the attention of one source , BUT estps want to teach one person while istps want to teach multiple people. Why are they different ?

when u said things like: if you dont do this and that as ENTJ ...what are u doing? lol that hit me/made me think but im still on my opinion that no matter your personality type , you can still desire something different in life than its typically expected from your type. maybe for an outsider it could look like "their not reaching their true potential" but i dont think thats always the case...

The fact that you said they are the "Alpha" of the intuitives and that they are "impulsive" leads me to think that Saint Peter was an ENTJ! Plus the character in the film Jesus of Nazareth seems like an ENTJ.

Very insightful. Thank you. Shamans , however, are not a personality type. They are born with a specific function to serve the community and may come in all personality types. They are not leaders. Just wanted to express this. Again thanks for sharing your expertise on the Entj I’m an Enfj
Entj woman and yes, I dislike myself sometimes because I see people as numbers. While coaching swim I never even learned the names of my students, I gave them numbers! And they responded to their number! Winning team and number one but, even with wins I felt lie am I a bad person? Am I detached because I saw the win over their human faces lol idk I mean we won! I don't have any close ENTJ in my life. In theory as an INFP i don't had a good feeling about them. But this episode is very good i really enjoy it (maybe because you talked about movies) and now i see their goodness. Hope I'll find an ENTJ friend or maybe boss. Thank you for uploading this season in channel. I only watched ENFJ episode, here is more easier to watch.(Si child level on hell)
Now that you say it, I do give alot but with strings attached. And it's subliminal.ill give to my friends and not ask for anything back but expect something back, and that causes problems 🤯
When I first met my ENTJ husband, we were at a sort of barbeque gathering, and he sat next to me and a female friend of mine, and at one time during the meal he started feading us with his food.... I was like "what are you doing !?!" and wouldn't take any bite (I'm an ENTP), my friend did accept (maybe because she's an ISFJ) My point is: that was sooo ESFJ-ish :))))
Just so other people know about this super ego your talking about I will give a real example from my life, as an ENTJ. This was back in high school when I was a little more immature and didn't have a developed INTP. This one guy I know and I hanged around with time to time cause my other friends did was just an asshole to me every time we hung out together. Eventually he called me a bunch of names for a couple of minutes really going at my character. I used to have anger issues when I was kid (subconsciousness ISFP) and usually I would have just gotten really pissed off and start calling him names back. For some reason though this really pissed me off, to my core. I was trying to be nice to the guy even though I never really liked him and he was treating me like I was being the worst person he had ever met. This really made me so angry, I had no words and just decided to laugh it off and wait. A couple weeks later he asked me to put in a good word to this one girl I was kinda good friends with. I already knew from previous conversations with her that she was interested in him. I told him that I totally would and that I would do everything in my power to help him out. Next day at school when I was talking to her I subtly threw in the conversation that he didn't like her, she was kinda upset about this but moved on. I reported back to him later and told him that she didn't like him. He felt awful and I consoled him then went back to my everyday life. They both thought the other didn't like them so they ended up not liking each other eventually. I still regret what I did, I think he deserved it but I should have been much more mature, told him that I wasn't going to help him and stopped hanging out with him. Just cause someone deserves to be punished doesn't mean I should be the one punishing. Recently I have been finding out about my personality and I can say that ENTJ fits me to a T. Watching your videos have been very helpful realizing my strengths and weaknesses. Really no other youtuber understands the complexity that goes into these types of people. Just a little tip to end it, If you want to get confrontational with an ENTJ, definitely do not use name calling (good tip really for any person). You can get confrontational with an ENTJ but you have to use logic and rational thinking, we won't give up on our thoughts easily but if you are logical and rational we will see your side of things eventually. If your reasoning is emotional however we will never see your side of things even if it is a reasonable point to be made.
The interesting thing about the US is that it's an SJ oligarchical society that was founded as an NT/SP libertarian society. The result of that being a society which is structured like an SJ society but has tradition and culture based in NT/SP ways. As such, you get SJs frequently backing pragmatic ideas like 2a that they would rarely support otherwise
You know it's funny. I HATE doing resumes or making on. I'm so bad at it, but somehow I get hired at the place I want. I've definitely had a time where I was on the phone with the recruiter and she asked me "what's one of your weaknesses?" My answer. "This is going to sound terrible, but I can't think of one weakness." We laughed and I got hired on the spot lol! She told me later that after she hung up she realized she didn't check my references lol! I'm usually loved where ever I work. Hasn't changed. Still get where I want even with a shitty resume.
Can you advise what role is Marketing? Is Marketing an STJ and/or NFP thing or an ENTJ thing? You have only mentioned mostly middle management, c suite, legal, HR, finance, and sales.
Can always file bancruptcy its not that damaging or damaging at all on business credit (depending) . Venture capitalism is dishonest though. also I used to think resumes don't matter but in the end it does show diligence so I'm 50/50. Resume and school are typically scams where as apprenticeships are much better
Question : you mentioned ESTJs and you said they were best fit for middle management, whereas ENTJs were heads of the spear. How do you explain the fact that so many politics (Obama, Biden, Warren etc...) are ESTJs ? Why can't we find more ENTJs in politics ?
My sister I assume, she is an ENTJ.. She can't see herself as an entrepreneur BUT she was an artist one day and she sees that she lost those skills.. Right now, she is an computer programmer right now because my mom forced her to choose that path because She didn't know what she wants Idk what to do, she is NOT happy, she will not convinced if I told her to lower her standard of living a little bit in order to have side project and work on smth and try to figure out her passion ... She literally hate this word *passion* because how NFPs manipulated her Is there is anything I could do to solve the problem or I just have to wait and hope that she will travel so she could figure out her true self since she REALLY wants to travel but unfortunately she can't find any opportunity
I found some declassified files of CIA concering MBTI - do they still use that or was that only research? Are they particular types they are looking for? Which are most suitable?
Hey! Thank you again for this purposeful video. I am an ENTJ, could you tell me with which personality types I can get most along with? I appreciate it!

I understand that. I also never like if I am incompetent to other people. It feels so bad.

I love these. You hit the nail on the head.
I love your corporate rants/ analysis, please keep them flowing!
Thank you Chase for this and the type grid. On my way to enlightment!
Te hero questioning your morality is so real
Thanks for pointing it out
"Don't ask for permission, as for forgiveness" is quote of my work experience. I always take risk if I think it is justified and I am always ready to hold any critic and take full responsibility. Not that I ever had to do it, because my judgement is very good in general.
Don't ask for permission, get them in your team.
Crazy vid back after years to rewatch, we need more entj videos
I have read of his content Rich Dad Poor Dad . I'm an ENTJ! It was really quite impressive you probably got everything .
I feel like music would also be a sort of totem for their memories
Nice. Back to uploading more content! Was thinking how I hardly see anything new from this channel anymore.
You're always so spot-on!
Thank you so much for the video. I understand myself better now thanks to your video. I can't thank you enough for your video.
Very interesting! I get INTJ in many different online tests - except UDJA. There I get ENTJ. 4 years ago some MBTI professional typed me as INFJ. But I really relate more to ENTJ than to INTJ or INFJ.
Geez even one of my sayings into my entj brain 'id rather ask for forgiveness then beg for permission'
I totally agree with the loyalty/break up part. Even after few years it always hurts AF whenever I see them again.
Hmm. I am a ESTJ. I am generally able to identify who is best suited for a specific task and reward people who perform their task the most effectively. Not sure if that is because of maturity or experience. I remember being young and finding ways of doing everything more efficiently, I reward that!
Oh. Did you misspeak at 21:00 ? Seems like you were speaking of another type.
Keeping track of my good deeds added to my take care of me list and I am always in a program.
So insightful, thanks so much (always in a program, OMG, that's so true)
entj here & never taken out loans myself although had student loans forced on me. but never made this connection before about the national debt, you are so right. that's all it is, just laziness & mismanagement.
Me (an ENTJ) talking to my ESTJ dad:
Dad: So have you opened that savings account yet?
Me: I would but I'm not done investing in myself yet.
I read some John Beene and Linda Berens. Thank you for the recommendations!🙌🏼 you have a good filter for content worth reading
My boy pumping out those vidz #truefan
I've never clicked so fast on a video
Napoleon always wanted it, but was barred by an inefficient system (monarchy) which he promptly reformed. He was asked to lead by the Republican government, not the old order. Napoleon loved meritocracy (amazing) and joined the military as it was one of the few occupations that facilitated his rise. You are spot on about entjs taking the initiative to gain prominence, as Napoleon did in Italy.
-entj historian
Very good video. I miss my entp roommate of 2 years you guys are
like twin brothers. Entj.
I thought my sister was an ESTJ but I believe she is an ENTJ. She makes the rules in her household.
Cheerful and no strings attached 😂
Your interpretation is welcome, but I've mostly heard Steve Jobs typed as an ENTJ. He was a visionary who had a tendency to bulldoze people and treat them like numbers, which you mentioned as being the ultimate downfall of all ENTJs. Sculley was more of an ESTJ: traditional, focused on tried-and-true procedure. When Jobs came back, so too did the visionary aspect of Apple.
George Lucas appears to be married to an ENTJ woman, Mellody Hobson who is a CEO and businesswoman.
Entjs want as much attention as possible from all sources while intjs want all the attention of one source , BUT estps want to teach one person while istps want to teach multiple people. Why are they different ?
bro thank you🙏🏽 You gave me confidence today😌
I'm an ENTJ did the personnality in 2018 then this year 2023...
I understand everything u said...I recognize myself Im very goal oriented...
When will you upload the "cognitive transitions for an INTJ"?
Let´s be patient xd
8 more uploads. He’s going in the order of the type-grid.
or anything in that regard
He seems to be releasing one per day, today was ENFJ, so INTJ should come in 7 days
@@ShadowQuik well no. These episodes were released months ago if I remember correctly. These are the email exclusive lectures that are out in public now.
I feel like I’m in a program every time I tune in to your channel! ...and I’m taking notes! You might wanna rethink the term “master executer” though let’s be straight....😁😉
As I heard that a quote that’s stuck with me my whole life popped into my head,
“He could run an efficient state machinery...on behalf of any ideology.”
YOU get me ♡ (ENTJ-A female)
when u said things like: if you dont do this and that as ENTJ ...what are u doing? lol that hit me/made me think
but im still on my opinion that no matter your personality type , you can still desire something different in life than its typically expected from your type. maybe for an outsider it could look like "their not reaching their true potential" but i dont think thats always the case...
yeah, that happens as a result of cognitive development, see season 19 here: csjoseph.life/patreon
@@CSJoseph thanks
I would really love an intp episode ond the kognitve transitions :3 becasue i really value the knowledge you give to us ^^ and i ahve been enjoying this episode a lot
ENTJ here and you are damn right!
The fact that you said they are the "Alpha" of the intuitives and that they are "impulsive" leads me to think that Saint Peter was an ENTJ! Plus the character in the film Jesus of Nazareth seems like an ENTJ.
Looking forward to being torn into again in the INFJ video 🙂
Comments on estj spot on in my experience.
So... read read read. Thank you for this lecture
Hey ENTJs out there what is your ISFP art?
MUSIC!!!
sketching and watercolor painting. Found it late in life and it makes me very happy
Entj here a relatively strong one
Singing and acting
3D modelling
I'm entj af. I'm not sure how I feel about you having me figured out like that lol. My village has fallen at the moment. I'm just trying to get past the first of the month so i can get back to my go getting self. They're blatantly depending on me . I know I'm about to have to make a drastic move . This is the calm before the storm, so to speak.
Very insightful. Thank you.
Shamans , however, are not a personality type. They are born with a specific function to serve the community and may come in all personality types.
They are not leaders.
Just wanted to express this.
Again thanks for sharing your expertise on the Entj
I’m an Enfj
The labels and titles are arbitrary. I don’t actually care about them.
Ha, now I know why I've been binging rich dad, poor dad videos. 😁 love that guy.
I really appreciate this video
Entj woman and yes, I dislike myself sometimes because I see people as numbers. While coaching swim I never even learned the names of my students, I gave them numbers! And they responded to their number! Winning team and number one but, even with wins I felt lie am I a bad person? Am I detached because I saw the win over their human faces lol idk I mean we won! They got so good! Isn’t that what matters lol ahhhhh!
When he quotes Quellcrist Falconer 😍😍 ~swoon~
Hi C.s. joeseph I watched you for years but don't think I have ever commented. What would you type Rosie O'Donnell as?
Shanks! 😊
Can’t wait for INTP
I don't have any close ENTJ in my life. In theory as an INFP i don't had a good feeling about them. But this episode is very good i really enjoy it (maybe because you talked about movies) and now i see their goodness.
Hope I'll find an ENTJ friend or maybe boss.
Thank you for uploading this season in channel. I only watched ENFJ episode, here is more easier to watch.(Si child level on hell)
@TheBlondie I kinda feel her, it takes time for me to put my guard away (Fe nemesis).
I was like "what are you doing !?!" and wouldn't take any bite (I'm an ENTP), my friend did accept (maybe because she's an ISFJ)
My point is: that was sooo ESFJ-ish :))))
ENTJ going to a shaman? Yeah, right
Just so other people know about this super ego your talking about I will give a real example from my life, as an ENTJ.
If your reasoning is emotional however we will never see your side of things even if it is a reasonable point to be made.
thank you for sharing
F it all! I'm going back in to business for myself. Corporate does not want results! By an ENTJ
Can always file bancruptcy its not that damaging or damaging at all on business credit (depending) . Venture capitalism is dishonest though. also I used to think resumes don't matter but in the end it does show diligence so I'm 50/50. Resume and school are typically scams where as apprenticeships are much better
Clicked as fast as light.
😂👍
Me too
Please do INTJ soon! And INFJ
PLEASE. i need the board to follow
Excellent lecture!
Question : you mentioned ESTJs and you said they were best fit for middle management, whereas ENTJs were heads of the spear. How do you explain the fact that so many politics (Obama, Biden, Warren etc...) are ESTJs ? Why can't we find more ENTJs in politics ?
Authority origin
My sister I assume, she is an ENTJ..
She can't see herself as an entrepreneur BUT she was an artist one day and she sees that she lost those skills..
Right now, she is an computer programmer right now because my mom forced her to choose that path because She didn't know what she wants
Idk what to do, she is NOT happy, she will not convinced if I told her to lower her standard of living a little bit in order to have side project and work on smth and try to figure out her passion ... She literally hate this word *passion* because how NFPs manipulated her
Is there is anything I could do to solve the problem or I just have to wait and hope that she will travel so she could figure out her true self since she REALLY wants to travel but unfortunately she can't find any opportunity
Chase the measure you use to judge NTJs will be the measure your INTJ shadow will be judged.
I’m okay with that
I found some declassified files of CIA concering MBTI - do they still use that or was that only research? Are they particular types they are looking for? Which are most suitable?
@@דיןהיכל I heard something different that they dont want Introverts at all
@@דיןהיכל no I havent but who cares about some fiction movies
Hey Chase have you heard of Clifton Strengths test? 5 strongest traits ...
I’d like to know which of these strengths would typify the ENTJ.
ENTJ; My top 5 (not in order): Achiever, Learner, Focus, Responsibility and Relator
Hey!
Thank you again for this purposeful video. I am an ENTJ, could you tell me with which personality types I can get most along with?
I appreciate it!
Waiting on that Intp/Entp
I feel like an ENTJ, but my tests say otherwise. I am a stay at home mum, maybe I've lost myself.
Noticing you've called Obama an INFP, ESTJ and ENTJ so far (in vids this last week alone). As ego, not another part of his quadra. Keeping count. Gotta catch em all!
