@@annjohnson8437 Maybe if it's an obvious fad, like lava lamps, where the whole point is to have the "latest thing" there's a point in warning people that whatever was new is now old. But announcing a basic color is "out" seems like a marketing gimmick.

So, when ladies decide to get monogrammed towels and pillows, please consider your partner’s monogram for their own spaces. I’m pretty surprised to see how many men are actually accepting of their whole bedroom to be pink with florals everywhere. If you are a husband who has any voice, please don’t allow your wife to overdecorate your personal spaces. Make a compromise rather than just living with pink everywhere. I’ve never met any man who was okay with sleeping in an ultra feminine bedroom full of pleats, pinks, and flowers.
