@@hanthony624 i'm pretty sure his lover is dead at Martha's swain out in Three Sisters near butcher Creek, north west of the Elysian Pool. the body in the shack at Martha's swain is called cival war bride and has a letter on her. it talks about her groom who is planning on fleeing from the war. i might be wrong. i think you are on about the shack near strawberry called Lenora's View. i think that was more recent than the civil war. i may be wrong.

Really? Rdr2 is my favorite game of all time. I've beat it half dozen times. I'm an avid gamer. And even I think 800 hours is kinda approaching "touch grass" territory. So, if you scoff at 800, I shudder to think what your record must be.

That window-peaking can happen in multiple towns. I first had it in Strawberry. It's a different situation inside each time too.
There’s more than one in Valentine as well. I remember after the first, there’s at least a second around the houses to the north of the jail.
I know of three. Two in Valentine and the one in Strawberry. Hank Likes a Spank is the funniest I think. Cheers.

I was lucky enough to find Otis Miller’s revolver without the treasure map. I was trying to open the map completely and happened upon it.
Otis Miller was mainly based off of Jesse James. Jesse James was killed by one of the Ford Brothers, who he was allowing to stay with him and his family at the time. The Ford bothers rode with the James gang for a bit and did a few jobs with them. James grew increasingly paranoid towards the end of his life and shut almost everyone out, but them and his family. The Otis Miller song is actually a rendition of a song called Jesse James.
Also, James was hunted by the Pinkertons as well, but they weren't successful in apprehending him. They did kill some of his family by fire bombing his mother's house.
I just noticed this when I got to the Lakay camp in my playthrough. If you hang around Dutch he will be playing a game of chess calling out the moves to himself. kind of ironically the moves correlate to the Dutch Defense -Semi Leningrad variation. 1. d4 f5 2 g3 Nf6 3. Bg2 g6 4 Nf3
That's not irony... but it is a cool detail!

I’ve platinumed RDR2 and it’s my proudest gaming achievement. Just watched parts 1, 2, and this one. Can’t believe how many of these I didn’t know about! I love it
Nothing compares to the first 4 chapters of this game….I’m on my third playthrough and just started chapter 2…I want to try and stay at camp as much as I can and see if I can get these side missions that rarely pop up…there’s one with Pearson that I haven’t done yet that gets you a cool jacket
I’m on my second play through. The first one I just wanted to find out how the story went so I did a lot of the main missions and finished with very high honor. My second Playthru I’m going for low honor and exploring more. I love going into deadeye and headshoting random people riding by on their horses

This game is full of love and passion and so much to discover. I really wish they made an undead nightmare 2 they could even have thrown more supernatural elements into the dlc since theres ufos and vampires in rdr2. Missed potential Rockstars higher ups are so greedy though.

Regarding the Blackwater Athletics Team - I recently completed the serial killer mission during the epilogue. So I decided to take old Edmund Lowry jr a nice ride on the back of my horse.....but instead of taking him straight to Valentine, I thought I'd take him to the mass grave to see if anything happened. To cut a long story short, nothing happened by way of dialogue, but when I got there with him all the bodies were gone and the only thing there was the arms & legs arranged in the letter B 🙄
Anyway, later on after I'd turned him in I went back to the grave and the bodies were there again, so I have no idea why that happened 👍
That’s terrifying almost even tho it was probably a glitch I hope that’s just as creepy as the two dead kids that starved in the cabin
my most plausible answer to the athletics team incident is that is has nothing to do witth lowry jr but instead is a reference to the Los Maniceros massacre, during which twelve members of a Colombian amateur football team were kidnapped, with only one surviving.Makes the most sense to me,Lowry killing all of them at once or capturing one by one makes no sense

Might be more obvious but here is one. John's sketches of objects of interest are different to Arthur's as John isn't as good at sketching and he even has different handwriting to Arthur. Just a really cool detail that's in the open but a lot of players miss or don't notice.
And you can find out about the grey/brathiewaite treasure if you search where the “adder spits”. On east side of lakay…You find a note telling you what happened to the treasure
Didn't know about the mask (but i haven't played undead nightmare) and the meteors. The peeping guys can be seen a second time in Valentine at an other house and once in Strawberry.
I named my daughter Morgan after this game. Now, i ain't naming another child Fizhy or anything, but it wouldn't be out of place. You're just as awesome as the game you explore. By the way, was that you in the food ad video? Damn, you look good.

If you continue north east past the Old World Script rock, (practically off the map along the shore) there’s part of a wrecked ship with a talisman in it.
I only mention this because I always see people mention the rock, but almost no one ever knows there’s another secret just past it.
The talisman gives horse bond increase by 10%.
@LovelessDogg that's because these new talismans are very recent editions, i found out about them because i had empty slots for them so i googled about them, there are 5 in total.
The biggest missed secret of all is to play the story through without updating the game a single time because the original graphics before they were nerfed in update 1.03 are insanely better
Always found it comical that while Marston can't read the norwegian note he finds at Manzanita, he apparently CAN read the chinese note found north of Armadillo on the dead chinese man, next to the Chinese Skull Cap.
So canonically Marston does not understand norwegian but can at least read chinese.

I had poked around the old wreck northeast of Annesburg and all around the edges of the map, but I'd missed that rune stone. And the meteor shower. I appreciate either hearing about things that are new to me, or getting to feel smug about having already found them :)
Found the runestone my first play through chasing a bear. Literally no other reason to go out there.
This is awesome I'm going to find these when I get back into the game to complete the animal and plant compendiums.

use a wagon with a tailgate to haul up to 12 big game belts just don't let the wagon get too far away it works with boats as well

I just realized that does whale fossils are impossible. The western interior seaway, an inland sea that extended from the gulf of Mexico to the artic sea, ony existed 100 to 66 MYA. And whales only existed as early as 50 MYA.

There's actually a few extra window peeking events than most people might realize. There's one in strawberry next to the general store where a woman shoots at you right through the window with a shotgun, and there's one in valentine down the road from the sheriff's where a woman is spanking a man. Also above the sheriff's office, you can hear a man and a woman having an argument, and he ends up choking her, but you can't save her or anything.
The conjoined twins are an easter egg for Bully.

In chapter 2, if you go to the river bank where you find the fisherman, you can find a guy in a shipwreck and when you go to search him, he coughs water and tells you something and then dies…He has a note on him that’s in cursive and hard to read but it’s for Bonnie McFarland

Odd that they included so many documents related to the Manzanita Post mystery with no in-game way to translate them, like they are deliberately planting story hooks that will only make sense after online community collaboration in videos and wikis

The Corinthian Club that is located in the northeastern section of the Saint Denis theater is actually a nod to a real club at Glasgow, Scotland. Rockstar loves to include references to Scotland in their games, especially in the Grand Theft Auto series.

As I've figured you're somewhat of an historian, might I mention that there might be an ounce of truth to the rune, though I suspect there to be a inconsistency from what I've heard.
The viking Leif Erikson, son of Erik Thorvaldson is believed to be the first European to set foot in America. They were initially on good terms with the natives from what I've gathered, but as gatherings between different cultures go, there's bound to be some what of a clash.
The vikings was most likely consuming milk from animals, when the newcomers introduced the white liquid from their domesticated animals to the natives, they couldn't forsee that an adult human that has been weaned off the teat would develop lactose intolerance, which is something that manifests from a small nuisance to extreme agony and even death depending on the amount of consumption.
So I don't believe they left in peace as the scripture suggest, but were rather forcefully exiled due to this catastrophic cultural mishap, the natives believed the vikings were poisioning them and it escalated into a violent departure.
That's atleast what I've heard from historians over here, I cannot confirm it with any sources since I gathered this knowledge over two decades ago. So don't take this for granted, just as my personal belief of what happened.
Can you do one on treasure chests please, there is one under a log near the river of the lemoyne fort. There is also one next to the railroad tracks on the way to saint denis from copperhead landing. There is one hidden in the grizzlies mountain just up from where you meet the veteran.

Secret number 3, the creepy fortune-telling doll is the voice of madam nazar from red dead online (the collector).
There's a viking stone in Labrador I think and it has that exact inscription
