Oh yeah, I've kicked around the idea of doing an edf aeroscout. Upon researching the topic, I found several conversions right here on TH-cam alone. It is a somewhat popular mod, and I do wish horizon would take some notes! Thank you guys for another great episode!
EDF on an Aeroscout... I did something very similar with a buddy today, put a 70mm 6s 12 blade EDF on a Radian-ish glider (that was abolutely NOT meant for it lol) and it ripped a wing off on the attempted high speed low pass. The best thing about it: The EDF was taped on with Ducttape😂😂
Recently I've built my first large RC hydroplane and I fell in love with water flying. So liberating and new. Cockpit view of that real hydroplane in the video made me smile from joy :)
A few years ago, I owned an FMS Sbach 342. I trained myself how to fly upside down with it and as I got better, I flew lower and lower... 😬 ... until I could let the rudder touch the ground! 😊 And sometimes I accidentally "landed" that way 😂
Where do you flyout in Seattle? Been here for a year or two and most clubs are filled with older FAA Armchair Officers. I ended up signing up with RAMS although its far but Im usually left at peace
How the heck did you come by that falconering clip from here? I remember seeing it when it first aired. Nak og Æd. Break and Munch, was the series. That episode was more, Send and Mince...
Oh mah gahhd.. I just drool over pusher airplanes. ( The Sea Ray not the Aero Scout) I prefer my Bixler 3 over any other pusher, also the FT Explorer and Sea Otter are excellent flyers
There isn't one right or wrong way to hold a yoke - his technique prevents over-controlling since he doesn't have as much leverage as if his hand were on the outside of the yoke. Many different ways to skin a cat. No one right way.
I wish we had a good club round here. I went to meet some of the RC pilots in my new home area. After a month of riding my bike past the field, I finally found someone there, and I got told,,, " we'll have you come by and hang out a while, to see if we like you, and if we like your flying, then we'll decide if we want to vote you in". I haven't seen them since. I've driven past that field Hundreds of times. They don't have hours listed on the website, don't have a phone number listed. The website states, "Come visit us! We are at the field most weekends - weather permitting." The most people I've seen there is 3, and the dog (Tucker) at one time. Never anyone helpful, cept Tucker, the dog. Field #1626 If you read the "News and Events" for the club, they need members. They only bring in just over half what they need to support the field. This is why the sport is dying. I love your videos, keep it up. It's literally the only thing keeping me interested in RC flying anymore.
We got Jeremy Clarkson reference before Grand theft Auto 6 LFG
I've only ever landed upside down once, and it was with my lil' Trex450 heli. Learned a new trick that day!
I have been waiting weeks for a new vid and finally there is one
Thanks so mush guys
The new walksnail head tracking and gimbals thingys would be amazing for this!
Finally new video🎉
Watching tail heavy’s vids always make my day and inspire ideas for my Sunday flys.
Really nice video🎉❤ I'd love to see more bush flying
ngl i think horizon would beat any chinese market selling their copy and paste planes if they decided to sell the edf aeroscout
NETWORK!? IM SUPPOSED TO BE THE RC PLANE NERD
Wild work
That poor falcon! I never saw that episode!
now we need an EDF mini-areoscout

pretty sure Failing With Finesse played Coachella this year...

Very cool episode!
😂😂😂 I hope that one day the technology for FPV flying will no longer turn normal people into Borgs.

I assume you meant sea/floatplane? They definitely are a blast!
I was going i to withdrawals over here, thank Jeebus for the gift of an upload!
Great to see you back your videos always make my week
Finally a new vid! I am super excited!
That falcon flying into the front end of a lorry is so sick, it’s hilarious 😂 “It was a good bird…”
As a Danish person where the show is from. It's even better, the full clip is crazy good😅
@@jesper87dkdet var et uforglemmeligt afsnit af Nak og Æd 😅
Der var et naturligt minuts tavshed for fuglen. 😊
What a beautiful lake!
Which head-tracking camera gimbal is that?

Hey Tailheavy i love the video can you make a Video about the eflite ec 1500?
Double like for incorporating J. Clark into the vid. Another great vid.

i have been waiting for weeks.i plan to get started in rc planes, and i am building my own trainer(for cost reasons).do you have any advice?
Rule number one: have fun!
As well as having fun :p
Don't get to discouraged if you crash, a lot, it's part of learning. Just keep on rebuilding and you will get better.
@@TailHeavyProductions thanks!

What do i need to get to install the fpv camera and goggles
Please tell me
So what is that high five lever in the Renegade?
The throttle 👍
@@TailHeavyProductions thanks! Asking the stupid questions so you don't have to, folks.
You guys should check out mrrcs in Washington. Full asphalt runway and a beautiful view
you guys should come down to Ri to do some flying
I find the freewing scorpion can do some great aerobatics, like cobras and whatnot... until it stalls
can you guys make a video of a Flite test plane like the simple scout, that would be awesome!😃
I wanted to order Merch but sadly no shipping to Ontario 😢
More fpv pilots more fun 🎉
I'm an old dude with $100 warbird foamies and I haven't flown a real plane for 30 years, but I somehow connect with your channel. What's a discord? 😂
RC planes are real planes, so therefore you've been flying real planes! 😁
No way, I just flew a 185 from anchorage alaska to pheonix Arizona. I had made a Stop in Renton.
Interesting grip on the yoke

make a video about the TT evo motor because mine caught fire and blew up: Its like Horizon hobby made a excuse for a "better motor"
I love this channel, cause its as if Discover RC and old school Flite Test fuzed, and was staffed by all David Windestals
